The only reason Maine may make the NCAA's is because HE is so bad this year. BC has 3 more wins than VT, NU , UML and UMASS combined!

I'd say BC and maybe UNH are the only teams that could make noise in the NCAA's. BU is a year away - maybe....

BC looked unstoppable until they didn't. Not sure if it was a lack of focus once they were up 8-3???
Sloppy, sloppy game by BU all around.
BC looked like world beaters and then they cruised and gave a few up. Muse looked just OK.
Benedetto really stole the show as well.
I would have much rather had a repeat of the 4-3 win for BC at the Beanpot, the 3-2 win for BU at Fenway, or even *ahem* a clean 8-1 win for BC.
This game kinda sucked all around.

It's obvious that BC gets up for the big games, like vs DU, Maine & BU, but they also have the ability to lose their concentration and play like crap, as evidenced by tonight's 3rd period meltdown.

That was a pretty cute celebration by Worsofsky, errr Warso, err #5 to cut the lead from 7-2 to 7-3.
Imagine what we would have done if Bennedetto & crew allowed us to play 5 men.
Chiasson flops all over the ice, it got to the point where it was comical.
As we all said, BU tremendously overrated, have won 1 game in a month plus.

that would rarely happen. especially since 1,2,4 and 6 lost tonight (5,7,8,10 have wins so far. #9 tied)

why? they split a h/h with #5. tied #9, beat #12. beat #15, and have two ties with #18. 3-1-2 vs all the ranked team that are not the hands down best team in the country (i don't care what "number" bc is. they should have stayed #1 and should stay there all year. no team has more talent. plus now with that nasty goon edge you're cultivating it's getting close to 'steamroll time'.)

Just off the top of my head I'd list these teams as better than BU, regardless of their record: BC, UNH, Maine, DU, UND, Miami, UMD... and probably Michigan, UNO, Yale and Notre Dame. I do however think they'll be much better next year. I agree on BC. Could care less what their record or rank is; when they are running on all cylinders watchout!! Plus they have two very good players out with injuries and will only get better when they return.

well, if you voted that's a fine ballot. but again, bu beat notre dame. split with uhn. tied maine (who i agree is better in the long run this season). michigan lost to ohio state tonight. uno got shut out bemidji 3-0.
outside of bc, it's all a mishmash (then the tier of nu, uml, umass, uah, toothpaste, directional michignas, etc.)
it's fluid.
