I'm with you Bill. No self respecting Platty fan will cheer for anybody BUT Plattsburgh. As for # of fan attending, the locals are always there to support the local two-time national champions. Should be a fun weekend...I'll be listening!:p

I am compeletely objective in my reporting.

I simply asked whats wrong for a Plattsburgh fan to cheer for another team in a game that they arent playing in?

I think it's funny you would ever even begin to try and tell someone about objectivity.:rolleyes:

Huge win for Elmira today..congrats to them being ECAC West Champs!!!!..hat trick from my good friend Lauryn Depaul, she beat Platty on her own :-)

Exciting win today at Stafford Arena.

Ladies, does it ever get old beating Plattsburgh in the ECAC West Championsip game? Make that three in a row! :D

The Plattsburgh Women's web site lists eight ECAC West Titles, I believe there have only nine in total. Elmira has won seven of those nine, must be the new math ???????

Well what a weekend for the SCORING Eagles of Elmira as they captured their 3rd straight ECAC West title. Many had written them off prior to this weekend as also rans...but that proved to be a huge mistake. I'm sure both EC724 and Ms. DePaul would agree that it was a total Team effort that allowed EC to walk out of Stafford tonight with the cup. Congratulations to Coach Fargo and his most capable coaching staff of Shera Vis, CJ McConell & their dedicated support staff..obviously they had this team prepared & ready to play and it showed as they were able to keep the conferences Player of the Year off the scoresheet and managed to light up the Goalie of the Year today on three of the prettiest goals you might see in a long while by #44. The Henshaw goal was a great individual effort and that was all they needed to put this one away. The EC Fans were out in full force this weekend as the Stafford was awash in Purple and Gold and as always can take some of the credit in the Eagles winning ways. Job well done! Two cups down...one to go.

I would be remiss if I didn't give a shoutout to our hosts Mark and Matt at the Nintey Nine Bar & Grill in Platty as we officially anointed the new Five-for-Fighting Lounge...Thanks Boys!

To cap off the weekend I was also fortunate enough to bribe a Media Pass and make my way up to the Gondola to meet Ducky and Rob from Wiry radio....made my day.

Good Luck the rest of the way Eagles...Make us Proud!

The dawn of a new era...Five-for-Fighting Lounge....In Platty no less....I'll have to stop by on my trips down I87 next year :)

BTW...10:42 EST...You home already..Or did you layover on the Reserve :D ???

Totally agreed, just had to give my buddy some credit...The eagles played great today, their team unity and chemistry is amazing.

Trust me....wont happen...they also told me they'd rename it "Seymore's Place". Soon as I stopped buying their cheap happy hour horse pee beer...they went to the next rube. They love to sucker purple people eaters.:D

Actually the "Seymore Place" sign is still up...right above the one that says "Please Flush" :)

Field is set and Elmira plays trinity at the domes Saturday....I watched some of the Amherst-trinity game yesterday and was impressed by their goaltender but not so much their offensive attack....thoughts???
