5-4 Fighting, Why do you only report transfers or the rumored number of recruits on other teams? Is there trouble in the purple and gold paradise that your not sharing with us.

Dubus is rumored to be leaving - why didn't you give anyone the scoop on the situation.

It will be interesting to see what type of recruits Fargo has coming in this year to fill the void of losing 4 of the top 5 scorers. He's been living off PNC's recruits the past two years (and doing a great job). Now which one of his recruits is going to step up? Not including Sullivan, she's already proved herself in a short time.

3 of Fargo's recruits ( including DeBus) made the ECAC West rookie team this past season. Thats pretty good recruiting if you ask me.
Also, in my estimation he has the premier recruit of the year coming into the 10-11 season - a player that was pursued by several D1's and chose Elmira primarily because of the coaching staff. I'll leave her name to speculation but those in the know in Ontario( there's a hint) cannot believe she is not playing D1 hockey.
It would be inappropriate to comment on Jill DeBus's reasons for leaving EC. There are some facts, some rumours, and some confusion surrounding the situation. I only hope for her sake, she gets a few things figured out. Maybe in the end a change will be good for her.

RIT Fan...unlike a number of people here I only report what I know to be true. I did hear that Debus was moving on but as to why or where I have no clue and until I hear why or where from a reputable source, I don't think any good could have come from early speculation.

As for her moving to Norwich....dunno maybe she wants to learn how to drive a tank.

I agree with Chirp however that EC, in losing 8 players to graduation and as you so aptly reported 4 of the 5 top scorers, Fargo will need to pull some rabbits out of the hat this year. As for living off of PNC's recruits...I would suggest his recruiting class from last year and this year will speak volumes as to his ability to recognize good talent and convince those players that EC is an excellant choice to further their athletic and academic careers...we shall see.

54F is pretty quick to make comments about other programs so I was just wondering why he wouldn't do the same for his own. He seems to know a lot about how many players RIT is bringing in and losing. I just figured his daughter would've told him about Debus by now.

As far as Fargo's recruiting...putting 3 on the rookie team is great...my point was to get an EC insider point of view to see who will step up this year for the eagles. They've graduated large/productive classes back to back. They won't have the luxury of have an older team any more.

RIT...I made one comment about RIT's program losing Torgensen...that's it. Seems everybody on your thread was hinting towards it and guess what...it's true she's gone.

Maybe you ought to take a minute and rifle through your previous posts. Nobody and I mean nobody is as inquisitive as you are about who's going where and who's doing what. I told you what I knew about Torgensen and now your busting my *****? Maybe you should get a little closer to the RIT program and find out what's going on in your own camp instead of criticizing me...

Tell the boy's at the Ninety Nine were on our way and have all those TV's switched over to hockey instead of that crap basketball they watch there. I mean who scores a 103 points and still looses?

AND...unlike the much fawned over Williams College EC does have their women"s hockey coach in place therefore they should automatically be leapfrogged from number 6 to numero uno !!

And the moon and the stars align again...
