Sounds to me like you are a bit sour. Listen so your team got beat by a 3rd year team that still had members from it's "Club" team on it. Big deal , shake it off, it could happen to anybody. Don't get all twisted up over it ( I mean you lost to Norwich on the men's side too). Anyway Coach Fargo will go out and recruit some more great players (and I mean that truthfully) and they will still be the same great team that they are every year and who knows maybe next year it will be your turn to beat Norwich? I mean you did beat them 3-2 in the quarters when they were a 2nd year team, maybe you grab the evens??? At any rate life is too short to be sour and surly.............it is a game......smile

Aww!! Thanks Dad!! Your positive attitude and inspirational words are truly uplifting. We're long over the loss to a team that on that particular day deserved to win and looking forward to many more spirited contests over the years....
But the parents? An embarrasment. Ask anybody that witnessed their gong show in Plattsburg and St. Peter.( Just reinforcing the obvious)

Bless you my son that is very Christian of you. But while your practicing your new found faith how about cutting the parents of the players a little slack. I do not know because I did not witness it but I have talked to those that did and I think it may have just been a few of the parents who were taken in by the moment and the fact that their daughters, who really were given no credit as a contender all year, just pulled off what they did. This is a team that because of the league that they play in were never considered even good enough to be ranked, despite the fact that they had a pretty good record most of the year. Until there were one of the final 4 teams left, then by default they gave them the #10 ranking in the country. So , my son, can you see where the resentment and excitement may have come from on the part of the parents? Look deep in your heart son and ask yourself how would you have reacted had that been your child out there that just pulled that feat off?? I think it was John in 3:25 that said, "If your child wins a game, that no one gave them a chance to win, let the parents of that child go forth and celebrate like children themselves......" or something like that

OMG...this looked like an episode of Super Dave Osborne!! I like your helmet though. (And based on info from walls of the ShadowDome men's room...the size IS indeed correct....
As for wearing these out west...what with all the cowboys and red necks...I can completely understand.
