Re: Elmira Soaring Eagles 2010
Good! Got a whole crew going with you? I'd love to see a good showing of Elmira fans
Absolutely!

Oooh Baby, you know it. The Fightings and Chirpings will be there. Staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Beautiful downtown Mankato. This is "Vis" country by the way so got the inside track here. There are Twenty Two (yup 22) Adult Beverage and eateries within a 3 block radius of the Inn aptly named the Barmuda Triangle by the local's...so should be a ring-a-ding-dong-dandy!
Just sayin however...this baby isn't being held far enough West (Ouest) for my liking.![]()
Go U Scoring Eagles. Make us proud...again!
Sounds amazing! wish i could go, grad school will not permit me to be gone for that long! Scream extra loud for me 5-4!
We know you'll be there in spirit ECalldayallweek.
Definitely will be watching from home, is it confirmed that Elmira plays at 3:30 on Friday?
Yup, 3:30 local time (Minnesota) which is CST so...2:30 EST. Right?

OK folks, Eastern time (whether daylight savings or standard) is always one hour AHEAD of Central time (of the same daylight savings or standard).
In this case 3:30 Central DAYLIGHT Time (please note that we set our clocks ahead yesterday) is 4:30 Eastern Daylight Time.

Nope, you are confused with the MST - CST conversion or the relative vs actual change reference. You must have been inhaling to much of that high Altitude Air.....![]()

A couple of hints on relativity
1 - Spring Ahead - Fall Back for the clock change references.
2 - Go West and the time is earlier, so
...if you travel in that direction move clock backwards
...However, it is later if you stay with your local time as reference.
3 - Go East and the time is later, so
...if you travel in that direction move clock forwards
...However, it is earlier if you stay with your local time as a reference
Geez Louise! Don't forget that we Westerners have been taught from an early age that the only good thing that comes out of the East is the sun...![]()
...and the only good thing out of the west is "sunset"....![]()
Well, well, well...it's Seylesshockey. Didn't think we would hear from you again until next year. You and Houle get a round in today?![]()

Boy it was nice and quiet on here last week...what happen, your "life partner" change the password on your Commodore 64??![]()
Depends if 8 inches is a lot to you. Also around here -18 can be fairly normal some times of the year.
Funny thing is the clock reference you are having trouble with is an American concept, not a Canadian one. We actually have 6 time zones up here, one of which is in half hour increments, just to complicate matters. The time warnings on the TV always are in the form off...9 O'clock local time, 9:30 in Newfoundland.![]()
Busy booking flights, auto and accomodation for the Big Tourney in Minnesota....Did you manage to get yours all cancelled?
