As a Canadian Bobby Lou scares me too!! but for all the wrong reasons. Seems to give up one bad goal a game.

On the other hand Miller scares me even more.
I think that boy may be the difference. Hope today isnt't "Miller Time"

Either way it'll be a barn burner and as North American hockey fans we all win today !!!!

I mean, don't get me wrong. Brodeur is no easy task to face either, obviously. But luongo's style is so much more consistent and that's why brodeur ends up giving up 4 or 5 goals in a short flurry pretty frequently. his stand-up style and crazy flopping around all over the place screws him when a team makes one extra pass and boom...open net on whatever side brodeur didn't flop on

I was full of confidence until the last nine minutes of the last TC game. They came totally unglued under pressure and that scares me. If they don't run out of gas, they should be fine. The crowd should play a big role in keeping the adrenaline flowing though.

Predict a tight one-goal game coming up...maybe even a stupid shootout...but that would be a shame. Fasten your chin straps folks...gonna be good!

just realized that unless they are going to make it available only online, the Elmira/RIT game probably wouldn't be broadcast on WIRY because of the plattsburgh men's championship game at the same time. But, as Seymore said, best bet is to e-mail.

So what do we think about the matchup with RIT? It concerns me a little that they tied during the year, and surely both teams have gotten better. Not being on home ice for EC could be a disadvantage here. With that said, Elmira is a top caliber team and I hope they win it all.

I mean, I don't know if they would willingly root for them, but grudgingly I'd think they'd rather see Elmira. You should always salivate to play your biggest rival.

Although Platty had the home ice advantage and control of the scheduling of games it doesn't surprise me that we play late then early. Face it we would do the same if ranked # 1 . I'm thinkin though we may have more fans in attendance than Platty, Utica or Rit and thats where our home ice advantage will come in to play. Looking forward to it all.

Hope they got that clock working..... or do I need to bring my tool belt?

I can't bring myself to cheer for either team. Personally, I hope they beat the crap out of each other. Four or five overtimes would be nice.

Elmira has a distinct advantage in two major areas. First, better senior leadership. Your girls have been in these situations before and their experiences should pay dividends.

Secondly, as I've said before....Goaltending! Statistics bear out that your goalie can make the big save on a greater percentage of shots. RIT does not have the tender that has shown this ability. This position at RIT is marginal at best. They may also be down to one goalie (since an injury at Buff State the last weekend of the season). If EC gets their shots....predict a victory. If not, it will be a toss up.
