It's going to be interesting with this storm now. It's a long way to Elmira from Aston. Hope they have a Very Good bus driver, I would expect they would want to come up Friday, not Saturday.

Yes that was the first thing I noticed about the new jerseys this year as well. The yellow isn't as bright and neither is the purple.
It's not a bad look. The jerseys are exactly like Yale's jerseys and Boston University's jerseys which are good traditional threads.

Depends on which Elmira team shows up; the team that should beat the Knights or the regular team who shows up about mid to late February!

Don't know about any other EC fan but iam not nervous one bit. I was looking forward to play the Knights i wanna end there season like they did our's last year.

Elmira will be fine tomorrow ..hope the flu has gone by them and that they can have all their key players ready to go ...this team is ready to shine"....i'm worried about snow and travelling there tomorrow ..anyone have any recent updates on roads and what to expect Sat.?coming from Buffalo

Elmira will have to rise to the occasion. JConnor, I like your comments. I tried to IM you but it did not go through. Continuous forecheck, eliminate penalties, perhaps put a checker on Ward, get physical with Neumann.

E.C. will be fine ..a real character game from this team ..down but never out..next week will be exciting ..but it's the soaring eagles time..go team canada ..go for gold against team U.S.

Neumann v. Elmira
Neumann v. Elmira
- Below average crowd ... ~1100, but quite vocal
- Everett is the absolute worst official I've ever seen in 35 years of playing, watching hockey. Wilcox got slashed, had to be taken to the dressing room for treatment. No call on NU, EC got a Diving call. Clueless!
- Whatever bug had been circulating through the team finally seems to be gone. Energy was high throughout, and EC dominated prolonged stretches of the game.
- Neumann has really improved throughout the year. Night and Day from their first visit. Hats off to Dawes.
- EC still gets the yips when the puck is in the slot/crease. Simply can't seem to get a clean shot on net.
- Goals 2 & 3 were about the prettiest of the year. Bang bang plays didn't give MacKinnon a chance.
- Neumann's 1st was a complete botch by the D allowing a skater to move in from the half-boards with an uncontested shot. Tuttle had no chance.
- Bring on the Valiants/Statesmen. If EC can win convincingly, hopefully the 2-weekend hiccup won't cost them the chance to host a play-in game.
