I have to admit that I was stunned by that Wilcox diving call. First he scores the game tying goal and immediately gets slashed in the back of the knee, rolling on the ice for a minute and no call. Then after he makes it back out of the locker room on the ice minutes later he receives one hell of a cross check in the small of the back and gets called for diving?! Everett is clueless. And I am pretty sure that disallowed goal went in before he had a chance to actually blow his whistle. "No goal, the whistle had sounded first." I think he was in the process of moving it to his lips as it was going in the net, but I do not think he blew the whistle before it went in.

Elbo said he thinks Everett is the worst ref ever, but I cringe just as much when I see McSweeney or D. Murphy skate out onto the ice.

lol went to my first game at the Oswego CC, Oz vs. Platts last month.....Murhpy did the game, almost got kicked out by the state troopers for yelling, no cursing,at him.... ask Loudhorns31, he thought it was funny....wow was he bad, I can only hope this Everett doesnt do the SUNY Champ.........

That diving call by Everett is about the worst call I've ever seen in 35 years. It ranks right up there with a call we got at Canisius once when a Canisius player cross-checked our guy in the back of the head, knocked his helmet off, then our guy got called for playing without a helmet.

Not a stellar performance by Everett for sure. We also got the "Dupree can't see" chant going.

Congratulations to EC. What looked like it was going to be a long game after the first period Elmira came out in the second and third periods playing with a lot more intensity than the previous couple weekends. The coaches and players did a great job adapting to Neumann's style of play. Great game by all but especially Casey he will be missed next year. Good luck next weekend. Hope they keep up playing with that enthusiasm they displayed last night, makes for great hockey. Maybe we can start pulling from the Jackal crowds and start filling the seats like it use to be. It is to bad people don't know the history of program.

I know it's here somewhere BUT. IF, and I will add, a big IF EC gets to host a playoff game, what day will it be? I assume there would be a play-in game? on a Wednesday?
I need to book the day off, Just in case;)

It's Tuesday or Wednesday Jim...Not sure which.

I saw a NCAA Playoff schedule somewhere and the play-in games are on Wednesday, March 10th.
