The knives aren't going to come out because they will be paid to put them away. (plus there is no non-MAGA GOP left...those with knives were kicked out) You think Trump is handled with kid gloves...watch what the media does to Vance and his Tech Bro Alliance. He will be heralded as young and innovative, progressive thanks to his non-White wife and the outsider Trump couldn't be in term 2 since Vance is still rather new to politics. The Dems will completely back off of him because he doesn't have the vitriol Trump does and since he was a Senator they think they can work with him. No one will do anything of value for fear of upsetting the billionaire class. Especially corporate media who is owned (or wants to be) by many of these people.

Trump cares about his legacy Vance does not. Vance will burn it all and hide behind his fake smiles and Ozempic Induced look of youth and health. He will gaslight people into believing he didn't agree with the Trump stuff they hate, the media will let him, and then he will dial it up to 11 because he knows he has one shot at this. Vance may have rolled a 1 on charisma, but he aint just going to shrink away because he struggles having conversations. Hell I bet ABC and CNN will pretend it is cause he is Autistic and then use that to prop him up as well. He is going to be given every chance to succeed and even if he doesn't half of Washington will be paid handsomely to pretend he did.

The problem is that yes, everyone in the GOP is full on MAGA, but MAGA literally revolves around one person. You take out that one person and it becomes ineffective. It’s shown in elections where Dump isn’t on the ballot and it’s shown when the media tried to appoint a successor after 2020. Only Dump has the ability to wrangle the full MAGA cult, you take that away and it’ll start to crumble. It might take a bit of time but it’ll crumble.

Like if Vance tries to triple down on Dump’s tariffs you don’t think there’d be pushback? They’re afraid of crossing Dump and his voters, Vance ain’t scaring nobody.

MAGA will not tolerate Vance or anyone else who doesn't cater to their feelings of white disenfranchisement and resentment.

Vance sucking off Silicon Valley isn't gonna earn him any followers other than the tech bros. MAGA will dump him just as they dumped Muskrat when Donnie told them to.

Without Donnie, MAGA is rudderless. It's a cult of personality, and no one else in it has any. Don Jr. is the only person with any hope of keeping the movement going.

The difference is the media doesn’t give a shit about Vance. He doesn’t service them the way Trump does.

It matters not. He has prosecutorial immunity and can do whatever he wants. And if for whatever reason he doesn't have immunity on something, he'll just issue himself a pardon. There's nothing legally stopping him.
 
Remember, he was only going to be dictator for a day. And if you asked him right now he'd lie to you and say he isn't a dictator right now. And the media will just leave it at that and believe him because, ratings.
