Outside of a deal for Adam Dunn for a reasonably cheap price (not likely), there's no deal to be made this year. I'm not burning down the farm system to get to 88 wins, not when this team is set up better for coming seasons.

I'd still rather have Mags since he'll likely be better than anything else the Tigers are going to be able to get.

Also hilarious, pretty much every bad men's league softball call results in the umpire being called Jim Joyce now around here.

Given my day at work today, the Tigers will be no-hit. It's an absolute given.

If these umps are as bad as I'm hearing, I'm all for having Laird bunt out of spite.

Sooooo...........Let me get this straight. Ramon Santiago can pinch-hit for Danny Worth, but I guess Alex Avila's bats found their way to the wood chipper before the game, and Gump Laird just had to hit in the 9th. No wonder Lloyd McClendon got fired in Pittsburgh.

I don't think it'd matter much. They're all AAA hitters. Congrats to the Rays for the first franchise no-hitter.

We all pretty much agreed 85-90 wins this season, that's what we're gonna get.

We did? Streaker thought 70, and that led to a pitcher of beer, and I thought 80-84 before the opener. If we're at 85-90 we're going to be in it until the very end. Sadly, it's not in the cards this year. 2011 and especially 2012 are going to be the ones to watch.
