Tigers to DFA Adam Everett
Danny Worth will return. No objections here. It's June. There's no reason to have a player in the lineup hitting under .200. His defense is top-notch, but you gotta hit the ball. It's not 1968 anymore.

Good thinking. Gives them a few months to see Worth or realize they need to add Shortstop to "catcher", "2nd base" and "3rd base" as positions that suck either in the field, at the plate, or both.

Well, if Avila doesn't hit on a regular basis, we're screwed, because there's nothing behind him in the minors, and I mean nothing. And it doesn't look a whole lot better for 3B, either.
Between that and the Call Sam commercials, it's getting unbearable.

Geez, this weekend's storms produced more offense than the Tigers. Eight tornadoes in Michigan (Cass co, St Joseph co, Berrien co (2), Lenawee co, (just north of Adrian and our friend, Hammer) Monroe co. (2) including Dundee and just east of Monroe, and Calhoun co. (Battle Creek area) all got hit. The same storms killed 7 people in a twister near Toledo at 2am.
Not funny for sure... with the Tigers ironically losing a series in the tornado belt this weekend.
And too bad about Adam Everett. Nice guy, good glove. This was the unraveling I was worried about- 2b experiment didn't work, no production at 3b, ss, catcher.... and the starting pitching is horrendous.

A <strike>5</strike> 6-run 7th which was fueled by the White Sox throwing the ball all over the place on what should have been a single to right by Raburn. An IBB to Big Boy later, and Boesch murderdeathkills a 97 mph heater to dead center.
