The only thing I thought they might challenge was if Burleson stepped out of bounds before the fumble, but he looked inbounds to me.

I credit the announcers with calling that melee just moments before it happened.

edit: Wow, 1 foul out of that? Should be about 5-6.

- Stafford pulling a guy down
- Retaliation by Moore (called, ejected)
- 2 Melee Piles

A good deal of it is self-inflicted, but yeah.

Lions have done it to themselves. 5 turnovers and poor special teams play, resulting in 34 of the 37 Bears points.

edit: make that 6 turnovers.....another ball thrown into triple coverage. After the second pick six, Stafford should have been pulled. I'm with you on that Hammer.

Give the Bears credit...they have harrassed Stafford all day. Its aessentially a 180 degree switch from the meeting in Detroit.

After that performance, I'm very concerned that this game may start a losing streak that will not end this season.

I don't understand why Stafford was left in there. He needed to be taken out of that game at the very least to salvage a tiny bit of confidence. Just about every element of that team that had shown promise this season ......was totally dismantled yesterday.

Schwartz has his work cut out for him. Alot damage was done...and I didn't see any leaders on the field or on the sideline.

Carolina was a game on the schedule that I had circled as a win. Is it possibly to recover from a loss like that with a week of practice ?
