Death to the Incumbent! Part Two: Now with more Death.

Re: Death to the Incumbent! Part Two: Now with more Death.

Your "brain" must be on automatic pilot. I said I'm inclined to believe the old folks in Nevada were having trouble with the machines. I also said: "I haven't seen anything YET that makes me suspicious." If I thought there was cheating going on, I would have said so. Evidently the plain language I used wasn't plain enough for you.

The only place where voter fraud on a significant level is possible is in big cities. Who runs them? My assertiion that Democrats try to steal every election they can is based on personal experience and the historical record. And while it's possible Republicans might cheat as much as Democrats do if they were in a position to do so, that hardly absolves the donkeys, does it?

My brain is working just fine. You believe that Democrats and unions will steal the election for Harry Reid, unless I'm wrong and Las Vegas isn't actually a larger city and Harry Reid's not a Democrat. Because if Las Vegas is populous and Harry Reid a Democrat, your own statements pretty clearly support the notion that you believe Democrats will steal and cheat to try and get Harry Reid a win.

Re: Death to the Incumbent! Part Two: Now with more Death.

Having Harry Reid's son as one of the Clark County Supervisors certainly is an interesting twist to the whole scenario.

And kudos to Angle for sending flowers to Joy Behar thanking her for the $150,000 in donations that just came in, after Behar had her meltdown calling Angle evil, going to hell, etc. Nice to see a lighter touch for once instead of just plain muck being flung in all directions.

You guys are just looking for a conspiracy? Even when the righties are going to eat the Dem's lunch? Too funny.

People with a lot of money will do anything to have another rubber stamp for the Bush Tax Cuts. The good news is now they'll be reenacted. They've done wonders for the economy the past 8 years. It's been the most economically viable time our country has ever had.

Your bitterness overfloweth.

No, no chance anything shady would happen in Nevada. What a silly thought.

When Democrats worry about stolen elections it is total nonsense. When Republics have the same concern it is fully justified.

As I pointed out back in 2002, the economy is about to enter a cycle not seen since the Roaring Thirties.

I could just flip the words Republican and Democrat around and say that they apply to you. But, we all know that such generalities are lazy. For me, anytime something untoward happens in elections, regardless of who does it, it degrades the whole system and makes us a lesser country. Problem is, there are few folks I trust to honestly report the facts of a situation, so it's typically a he-said/she-said situation that you don't know for sure what went on, or not.

Of course it would be reported fairly...if Democrats do it the report will be on FNC and if the Republics do it it will be on CNN. :p

Actually, if a Republic does it FNC will report it, but change the party affiliation from R to D ;)

THE great failure of the media is that there is so little relatively unbiased reporting from news outlets that people are left to pick what they like of the biased news outlets which fit their viewpoint. Of course the failure also lies with the populace, who watch junk news and don't demand quality, relatively unbiased coverage.

I'd say that's something Democrats and Republicans can agree upon, but I'd probably get told off :p

So, I expect to hear from the NOW in the next day or two condemning Behar?

No?

Wow, I'll bet the debate team at President Dukakis junior high is impressed with your forensic talents. Me, I think youre just a jerk with a keyboard and no commitment whatsover to accuracy. Stop trying to be an amateur mind reader, you're no good at it.

Well, the national president of NOW might speak up. But the HBIC in Nevada may take a page out of California's book.

Re: Death to the Incumbent! Part Two: Now with more Death.

Let's ease the tension a little with something I find appropriate to this day. (Keep in mind I am not saying either party is Silly or Sensible. I just wanted to post this about the coverage.) ENJOY!!

He's run a really really odd campaign in my opinion. Especially the ads.

You've got it exactly right. Most elections are honest. It is only when the results are close that the little Democratic sprites get busy doing what they do so well: "finding" ballots, keeping polling places open past the set time, refusing to allow access for GOP poll watchers and on and on out of their book of tricks.

When you whine about Republicans stealing elections, do you have a specific election(s) in mind, or are you just engaging in equal opportunity smearing?

As to your analysis of the economy I hope you're wrong. BTW, which are you: Smoot or Hawley?

Re: Death to the Incumbent! Part Two: Now with more Death.

A classic from among many. "This is a late parrot." "He's not dead, he's pining."

The ship has already sailed on the economy, or haven't you been paying attention? Remember, I said this in 2002, not yesterday.

Actually, what I wrote was:
Conservatives now control the White House, Senate, House and Supreme Court. The last time conservatives held power in these institutions was 1928. And as history books tell us, the years that followed were the best years America ever enjoyed. Americans reveled in a booming stock market. There were jobs for everyone. It was an era where civil rights were finally recognized and minorities were treated as equals. The poor and downtrodden were lifted out of the dust as the economy roared with vigor that hadn't been seen before, and hasn't been seen since. And there existed a fear and respect of American military strength all over the world, from Germany to Japan. America has never known such a period of peace and prosperity. Yes, a new era is beginning in America.

Which is why we're staying in our bunker until the fallout from the nucular wars with North Korea and Iraq has passed.

Never got around to attacking North Korea...

Was that before or after the great liberal, Moosejaw, put tens of thousands of American citizens in concentration camps? You have the exquisite and addled knowledge of history. Answer me that. And that little business in Vietnam? You blame that on Republicans, too? Or no?

You want a Nobel Peace Prize for your prescience? It's obvious nowdays you literally don't have to do anything to "earn" one.

I'm not aware of a President Moosejaw, nor his (her?) putting Americans in concentration camps. Was this a real history book, or one approved by the Texas Board of Education?
