Because clearly we hate all gay people (not what you were saying but i'm just preempting the ineviatble insinuation).
Obviously this is ridiculous. I just think it's funny.

Lose the snark rachel. It's why your ratings are worse than gopher hockey.
31% of gay people evidently hate themselves.

Agreed, it's **** near impossible to put up with. When I've seen the show, even when I agree with her argument, I feel a little bit ill.
I think success breeds flattery -- and this is one of the uglier consequences of Stewart and Colbert's popularity. Every left wing tv pundit now thinks that s/he can "play Stewart."
My favorite was this past week when she went over a Sarah Palin commercial and Maddow was taken aback by the premise that the commercial contained, you may want to be seated for this, STOCK FOOTAGE!!!! *GASP* *faints*
On those extremely rare occasions when I see her, it seems as if she's putting on a female, alternative lifestyle, liberal imitation of William F. Buckley, jr on amateur night at the Laff Factory. And not doing it very well. All of the verbal tics and attitude, none of the content.
she's a devastating critic of the wackjobs.
I watched her show when it started but it got old rather fast. All the MSNBC/Faux crap out there is pretty lame after about a weeks worth of viewings because you can tell most of them not only dont believe what they are saying, but they are as emptyheaded as that morning news show host who only knows his guests name because he read it in the prompter.
As someone who loved Buckley and likes Maddow, I don't think there is anything in common, or intended. Maddow has picked up some of KO's style which is too bad, because when she plays it straight (so to speak) she's a devastating critic of the wackjobs.
I should have put a smiley on the post, since I was being sarcastic. Intellectually, she's not capable of sharpening WFB's pencils. "Mr. Buckley, if you win the mayoral race in NYC, what will be your first act? Demand a recount."
None of the talking heads on Fox or MSNBC can. Buckley's a throwback to a time when ideas mattered.

Just "like"? Come on, you've admitted it before...you think she's hot.

Oh, she's amazingly nerdy-lesbian-hot, too. Like Molly Wood and Ana Marie Cox. But I have a type (and apparently that type likes women.)
