Yeah, you sound real sad. I'm sure his other kids are glad he's dead too. You know that case was dropped and he did what most people accused never do, apologized to the woman even though he was still subject to a civil suit, and keeping quiet was probably the wiser choice as far as that was concerned. Hopefully if you did something bad in your life (and I've yet to meet a human who did not) someone will be there to remind your kids of it after you die.

Haven't listened to the recordings -- not sure if I want to -- but a former NTSB staffer said from an admittedly outside perspective she didn't think it was Controlled Flight Into Terrain (for those who don't know the acronym).

I would like to see this same "tribute" and adulation for others that have been accused and not convicted when they die. Just sayin'.

I AM truly sorry for the family's loss, and the daughter's death. It is horrible. Absolutely horrible.

You have clearly never met somebody who genuinely does not care about sportsball. I went on a date with a girl who had not heard of Michael Jordan. Ok, maybe now, right? 25 years ago.

But Morris was actually a sports reporter once so... yeah. Also, born Long Island. Woohoo!
