Gustavus breaks the tie late in the third 3-2 GAC over Concordia.

Superior and River Falls ends in a 3-3 tie.

Can someone explain this to me, as I've never seen it happen before.

Superior is controlling the puck in the River Falls zone, Deardorf flops down to the ice for no apparent reason and just lies there, Superior gets the puck to a player with a wide open shot and the ref blows the whistle to check on Deardorf and then brings the faceoff outside the zone. ONce the whistle blows Deardorf gets up and skates around for a f ew seconds then goes back into the net. Can the ref stop play when UWS has control of the puck? Why was the faceoff brought outside the zone?

Concordia scores as OT expires on abreakaway, a Gustavus player had skated into the net and knocked the net off, and the ref's waive the goal off.

So in the Potsdam Plattsburgh game Potsdam was called for a penalty but play was resuming because they had yet to touch the puck, however when the penalty occurred the net was pushed a solid foot off of the pegs. Play resumed for what seemed like a good ten seconds. What is the ruling on this. I'm assuming that it should have been blown dead but just wasn't because the game had the Trifecta of idiot stripes working the game in Legault, St. Louis and Lamoy.

Where are the eastern folks this weekend? RIT over Elmira...hardly a peep....Bowdoin knocks off Amherst and no Obserbear sightings??

It's Super Bowl Sunday...but I think if your in the Elmira camp your saying "Their Human", if your in the RIT camp your saying "We're Nervous". :cool:

I was too busy getting my flight cancelled this morning in Burlington. Shades of the 2007 Frozen Four all over again when I got stranded at Newark Airport while trying to get out to see Oswego go on and win the National Championship.

I hate winter travel.:mad:
