D3 Regional Rankings and Bracketology

Re: D3 Regional Rankings and Bracketology

See arrogance! "Plattsburgh had an off night", thus Plattsburgh beat themselves, not Plattsburgh played really well and Utica just played above themselves.

The Utica goalie stole that game. Cards put 57 shots on goal and lost! The next day the same goalie was pulled in the second after letting in 5 goals.

You are a .... (lets all be nice)

Castleton, thanks for playing. You can pick up your participation trophy at the door on your way out. Ranked 6th in the east, please.

They didn't look like they belonged on the same ice as the Beacons. If not for their goalie Castleton would have lost by a ton. Congrats to UMass-Boston. Good luck against Norwich.

I would agree with this statement from the middle of the third period on. Before that I thought it was a very even, physical game.

I was very impressed with UMass Boston's speed.

Re: D3 Regional Rankings and Bracketology

For anyone interested, Plattsburgh is streaming the neutral game (Utica vs Elmira) on NSN. Not something we see done a lot across the league....

Re: D3 Regional Rankings and Bracketology

Utica up 1-0 5 minutes in. Emily Coope is the goal scorer.

Now up to 2-0 on a shorthanded goal.

4-0 Utica end of the second. Total domination... looks like the Utica team that beat Plattsburgh last month...

Re: D3 Regional Rankings and Bracketology

Well this makes things interesting...is Elmira still "a lock"

They need Adrian or Plattsburgh to win to be a lock. If both lose, I don't think they are a lock... If one of them win an AQ, I think Elmira is a lock.

Re: D3 Regional Rankings and Bracketology

If Plattsburgh loses, elmira is out. They should be out anyways, don't even make it to their conference finals

That's not how the process works. The NCAA doesn't put any more weight on tournament games than it does regular season. Elmira is only out if Plattsburgh and Adrian both lose their conference tournaments this weekend.

So, you think ECAC-W might have 3 teams in the tournament should Plattsburgh lose on Sunday?
