No score in Columbus after one. Not a lot of good, close-in opportunities for either team. Lots of long shots/easy saves for the goaltenders. Ohio State looks a LOT better today, and I would give them a slight edge for the period.

Maine and UConn just ended in a 0-0 tie. Pretty evenly played game with both teams clanking iron. The two teams split the conference series 1-1-1. Maine goalie gave up 1 goal over the 125 minutes she played this weekend.

Taylor Heise scores twice in just over 30 seconds to make it 3-0. Her first was a one-timer from close range off a beautiful pass from Sarah Potomak. Her second was a boomer of a slapshot from way out, just beyond the blue line.

And then Emma Maltais comes right back a gets a shortie for the Buckeyes. 3-1.

Goalie change for the 3rd time this weekend for Ohio State...5-1 Minnesota now.

Maybe Ohio State should just pull the goalie and go with 6 skaters...;)

Woken scores to make it 5-1. OSU looked really good for the first 25 minutes, and then just collapsed.

6-1, and the Buckeyes have thrown in the towel. The refs need to be careful that things don't get completely out of control, because they're letting some really chippy play go uncalled.
