D-III Scores and Highlights: The stretch run and the road to the 'chip

Re: D-III Scores and Highlights: The stretch run and the road to the 'chip

1-1 in rit after they get a pp for a bunch of garbage in front

Re: D-III Scores and Highlights: The stretch run and the road to the 'chip

2-1 rit final connelly decided to find her whistle on the third and call garbage that hasnt been called all game

Re: D-III Scores and Highlights: The stretch run and the road to the 'chip

RIT wins on 2 PP goals in the third........hhhmmmmmmmmmm... that will really suck if Plattsburgh's season ends on this note....

Sorry...a fan's knee-jerk reaction to how the third period went...

Re: D-III Scores and Highlights: The stretch run and the road to the 'chip

congratulations rit now go d1 you freakin goons...another fans reaction to the games ive seen rit play

Re: D-III Scores and Highlights: The stretch run and the road to the 'chip

Congratulations to MVille

Oh man, this really throws a wrench into things...if Manhattanville won (which is what I assume) then RF, Norwich and Platty are all battling for those pool C bids.

Re: D-III Scores and Highlights: The stretch run and the road to the 'chip

Just looked at the boxscore of the Platty/RIT game. Looks like quite a goon show. Not the number of penalties, but the type of calls and the timing of them.
Surprized the NCAA would assign a woman to ref a playoff game. They just dont have the skills yet. (Sorry, but it's true.)

Hey guys,

Sorry I've been away for so long. What are we looking at for a potential NCAA bracket announcement time? Where is my best bet to "get it first?"

I was afraid this was going to happen. I would assume that River Falls is in and it will come down to Norwich and Plattsburgh.

Not really. Norwich does not stack up to RF or Platty in the NCAA criteria

Yes, but for some reason, Norwich was ranked ahead of Plattsburgh in the last NCAA ranking... I have a bad feeling about this...

Re: D-III Scores and Highlights: The stretch run and the road to the 'chip

Anyone have any projections as to the teams and games

GAC @ River Falls
Adrian @ RIT
Manhattanville @ Middlebury
Norwich, bye

RIT, then River Falls in line to host Final Four...

Middlebury will pass Norwich in the rankings.

Switch Norwich and Middlebury and I think you might have it.

Women ref the Olympics, and I guarantee that the level of play there is higher than a DIII game.
