D-III Scores and Highlights: The stretch run and the road to the 'chip

Re: D-III Scores and Highlights: The stretch run and the road to the 'chip

live stats were awful. It finally switched to show the third period had started and adrian scored at the 17 min mark.

Re: D-III Scores and Highlights: The stretch run and the road to the 'chip

So the video does not work and the live stats can"t keep up with the ncha website this means yes they suck combined with the fact that they just refused to play two years in a row against the east makes them a solid low class and low grade program. Too bad the team is so good and they work so hard and the admin is trash. Congrats on being the worst host ever in d3 womens hockey RIVER FALLS you managed to embarrass you school and town in reord fashion you su.. By the way I am just pi..... at the poor job you did I can not believe we pay you to come play us at our state of the art barn when yours is such a dung heap.

you pay them to come play you???

It was part of the deal to get into the NCHA. I'm not sure how long the contract is for but we pay for everybody's hotel and meals. I get the travel but no matter where you go there are hotel and meal expenses. ???

I still won't be surprised if adrian gets the boot from the ncha soon. I can see teams not wanting them there because of the travel costs. I'm sure the hotel costs are equal to the travel for most teams

rf 2 adrian 0 @ some point in the 2nd

Re: D-III Scores and Highlights: The stretch run and the road to the 'chip

Norwich:6
Southern Maine:0

13:00 left in the second period.

Norwich leads shots 15-4.

I feel more confident now in saying what I said in the beginning of the season...

"These Cadets are good...SCARY good."

Best game I've seen them play so far this season. And yes, I realize it's Southern Maine.

Re: D-III Scores and Highlights: The stretch run and the road to the 'chip

RIT l;eads Utica 1-0 at the end of the first period.

Re: D-III Scores and Highlights: The stretch run and the road to the 'chip

I'm sorry they do also pay for travel. I can see that. I might even see hotels but food? They would have to eat wherever they go. Right?

Re: D-III Scores and Highlights: The stretch run and the road to the 'chip

Gustavus leads 2-0 with 10 minutes left in 3rd

Re: D-III Scores and Highlights: The stretch run and the road to the 'chip

Norwich:7
Southern Maine:0

Final.

Cindy Fortin has a shutout streak of 165+ minutes.

Re: D-III Scores and Highlights: The stretch run and the road to the 'chip

Final

Gustavus 3
Bethel 0

Good hockey game, shots were lopsided, but Bethel played a great game, it was closer than the stats showed. Nice year for Bethel and congrats to Gustavus.

Re: D-III Scores and Highlights: The stretch run and the road to the 'chip

NESCAC: Middlebury 4 - 0 over Bowdoin.

Amherst & Trinity tied at 3 in the third.

Re: D-III Scores and Highlights: The stretch run and the road to the 'chip

hmmm...I can't imagine that RF won't get a pool C bid, but with 3 teams from the West, will Adrian play an Eastern team? Will the west host again? Will a Western team get a bye, and RIT host? Here's how I think it'll play out: RIT winning and the PLatty getting a pool C, Norwich winning ECAC E, and Middlebury winning the NESCAC. With GAC and Adrian getting the MIAC and NCHA bids, UW RF will get a pool C. I'm just not sure whether they'll give GAC a bye and make RF and Adrian play again, or what. Can't wait to see how things turn out. And of course, if RIT loses or there are other upsets, things will really go nuts!
