Very cool. I'm looking forward to this weekend. It should be exciting with St. L and Clarkson!

Cornell down to SLU 1-0 after 1. SLU's goal came on the PP (Smith unassisted). Overall, Cornell looked very sluggish that period and the period in general was a yawner. Shots are even at 7-7.

1-1 after 2. Cornell has the edge in shots 17 to 13, and will start the third on the PP. Still a kind of boring game to watch. :( Fortino scored Cornell's goal unassisted.

2-2 tie after 3. Overguard scores the tying goal with 1 minute left from Karpenko. Cornell with the shots edge through three 28 to 24.

Game ends in 2-2 tie. Definitely was not the best game I've seen them play. Cornell had the lead in shots at the end of the game 34-28. Looking forward to tomorrow!

Yup. Tomorrow is the big one. A Clarky win will pretty much assure them of the reg season Crown. A Cornell win would make it interesting down the stretch, but it would force the Big Red to have to win three times over Clarky to make it to the big dance.

Clarkson up 1-0 after 1. Shots are even at six a piece. Cornell came out great and really controlled play for the first half of the first. Clarkson goal came after a Cornell penalty had expired.

1-1 after 2. White scored a beautiful goal from Fortino on the PP. Cornell has a slight shot edge 10-9 through 2. Cornell played very flat most of the second with much less than precision passing for the most part. Fortunately, Clarkson didn't look that great either.

Clarkson scores a quick one at the beginning of the third and hang on for the win. Overall, not a very good game for Cornell in the second and third periods. Passing was off and the forecheck was lethargic.

Still 0-0 after 3. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Vigilante is a DANG good goalie. Shots on goal through three are 36-12 Cornell.

I thought Cornell played well tonight. We couldn't get one past Quinnipiac superb goaltending, but Mazzotta held firm despite not seeing much action for stretches and had a number of key saves.

The first two periods Cornell could have done a better job of setting up back door plays, but they did a lot of that in the third. Unfortnately, we just couldn't get one through.

On a side note, Mazzotta now owns the single season shutout record at Cornell with 7. Congrats Amanda!!

It never ceases to amaze me to see all these Ontario Goaltenders dominate the ECAC landscape, specially at Ivies.....

Kessler, Mazotta, Seguin, Vigilante, Jamieson, van den Bliek, Plenderleith, Seguin, Ladiges.

That's awesome! Congratulations to her for a job well done. It looks like she's on track to break a couple of other records this year if she keeps up this level of play.

It's a good thing they're playing Princeton at Lynah today. NJ is basically shut down thanks to the snow storm.

Cornell up 1-0 on Princeton after 1. Fortino scored from Rougeau and White on the PP. Princeton has the edge in shots 9-8.

Cornell up 1-0 after 1. Shots are 8-9 in favor of Princeton.

The goal was scored on the PP. Cornell won the faceoff, moved the puck D to D and Fortino blasted the slapshot in. Rougeau got the assist.

Princeton had a couple of good chances of their own during a PP at the end of the period.
