This has happened with other schools' game feeds as well. If you are a student cameraperson, nobody out here cares about the crowd. Follow the puck at all times. Yes, they do crowd shots at NHL games, but they have more cameras and more personnel (and if they miss a goal because of a crowd shot, we'll be mad at them, too.) If you want to shoot something else during a break in action, show us the scoreboard.Karpenko just scored buyt the camera person was filming the stands?!?!?! :/
Cornell Sun's article on this weekend's games, though it focuses mainly on tonight's game with Harvard...http://www.cornellsun.com/section/s...05/womens-hockey-aims-bounce-back-vs-ivy-foes
Reading between the lines, this article would suggest that MJ and RJ will be in the game against Harvard.
Matt -- word around Boston is that there were some recruits at the game Friday night? Possibly one that is already committed and two other top F's. Any confirmation of this? I know one of the girls everyone thought would goto Harvard with her sister. The other is a top-93 who surprisingly hasn't committed anywhere yet. Maybe she was waiting for Ivy?
Matt-I don't know how to do a private rep. And, I don't want to say all the girls in question names because what if they are also talking to other schools? That really wouldn't be fair to them. But, I will say the one girl I heard was there, Katelyn Pippy (goalie) because she is already committed there. After that weekend the rumor floating around Boston (because lots of Harvard parents made the trip up) was a top-'93 from Boston (she's a 2012 though) was there for the Harvard game, as was Katelyn Pippy was supposedly there and being mobbed by kids for autographs. And then one of Katelyn's current teammates who is a top '93 and hasn't yet announced where she is committing.
So, Cornell actually has 2 commits for next year. The fwd you reference from Bluewater (which isn't posted anywhere publicly but worst kept secret) and Katelyn Pippy. She has been a thorn in the side of Tier 1 Elite teams my daughter has played against her for years. She's like 6' tall and very athletic and flexible from her dancing background. She's not the quickest goalie, but her size and agility certainly help her stop a lot of rubber.
