And the sniper was kind of a pro. Military vet, etc. He is/was probably smarter in warfare than the avg citizen. IIRC, it was mentioned that the body armor he wore would have stopped the standard police issue ammo, and do correct me if I am wrong in stating this.
We cannot stop everything at this point. We have to find that balance of rights/laws. Right now, it's obviously out of balance. So take a few steps that seal the laws that are enacted, and see what happens. I still believe it's more culture than law. It's sad, but I do believe it's true.
That doesn't answer the question. What % of the problem is created by circumventing these loopholes? Better yet - how vast are the loopholes at the behest of the NRA-goons that nothing more can/should be done?
btw - where were all the law-abiding gun-toters in CCW happy TX to stop the fuckstains that killed these cops?
