What's not to love about a good rivalry. What a game tonight! Let's hope for the same end result tomorrow night.

Cue some vapid comment from a CC fan about World Arena North

Jussi and Schwartz both got DQs for that crap at the end of the game, both will sit tomorrow....I think we win on that front, since Schwartz had 2g,1a tonight. Could be interesting!

Yeah, and the Juicy is sitting tomorrow per plan as Sam is starting net, per Gwoz pregame. I'd say that's an epic swap!

May be against the rules, but it may be surprising to learn that Colorado College fans are a bunch of blustering, useless fools. After fifty years of sitting on their hands and not giving a crap about anything that goes on in the World Arena, it might be time for them to actually attempt to try to hit back. After a great game played by both sides (credit where credit is due to CC) and trying to congratulate Colorado College on a job well done, CC fans attempted to hit myself and my friends on the way out of the arena to dare to be proud of DU players and the way that they played. It's also fair to say that not all CC fans acted this way. The family in front of me acted fantastically, and I'm glad to say that I was happy to act family-friendly in front of them out of respect.

Stay classy, Colorado College. I'll happily be in Denver backing up the Pioneers tomorrow. I'll be lucky to see you there.

Sorry that happened to you. But believe me, you guys have your share of those idiots as well, as I have seen first hand. I don't think it speaks for the majority of either fan base, though. Most of us on both sides are far better than that, and I would have shook your hand and congratulated you.

Anyway, congrats to DU on a hard fought win, and my hat's off to CC on the character they showed. I really thought they were dead in the water and on the way to being blown out, but they made it interesting and exciting. Yet another classic game between the rivals! There sure never seems to be a "run of the mill" hockey game between these two teams, does there??

That's true, and although I may have been rash, I was still pretty angry. With saying nothing but "great job DU" and "great game, I wasn't feeling great about the final result", it just seemed just disrespectful and unnecessary to react the way they did. Both sides played a great game (the final result comment wasn't sarcastic, as one may think), and I was proud to escape with a win, after the last few times DU has been in World Arena, the fact has been that it hasn't been good.

Both sides have terrible fans, I was just unfortunate to encounter several of the worst.
