Are there any decent places close to Magness to eat/drink? Nothing fancy - just bar/grill type stuff. We're hitting the Saturday night game only...

I usually just wander around and find something close to the arena. There are plenty of DU / crap themed places to choose from that sound like exactly what you are looking for. Unfortunately, the closest Chuck E Cheese is almost 4 miles away. :confused:

I sort of expected a response from a DU fan but a few of them had a brain aneurism and lost it on DG's blog yesterday afternoon. :eek: Maybe they will chime in later.

Peter, what happened to Spanky's, you all use to go there? Is it true that CO14ers (Todd) got kicked out of Spanky's and that is why your crew does not go there anymore?

By the way, I just want to point out that Colorado College is 15-9-4 all time playing at World Arena North (aka Magness Arena) against DU on their own campus!

Not sure about 14ers getting booted. I think they got new ownership and the place changed drastically.

I'm asking about Saturday with the game being at Magness? Where you going before the CC at DU game Saturday?

My possible location for the Saturday game in Denver is still classified. However, I can share the negotiations are on-going with ronmexico regarding the use of his girlfriend. She is HOT! You should meet her this weekend. I just want 30 minutes with her before the game, but ronmexico is still saying no. Rats! But I'm not giving up!!
