Re: College Football 2016-17: Destination Tampa

BTN put a GoPro on one of the refs. It's actually pretty awesome to be right in the middle of the play like that.

Re: College Football 2016-17: Destination Tampa

There's a certain amount of irony of a Michigan team getting jobbed by officials.

Re: College Football 2016-17: Destination Tampa

That was one of the most interesting games in any sport I've seen without a rooting interest.

For the record, and I say this as a Michigan Hater, I think they stopped him.

Re: College Football 2016-17: Destination Tampa

Syracuse hangs 55 on Pitt and is losing by 21. 1:29 left

Oops, make that 61 and trailing by 15 with 0:58 left

dude ran into his blocker who was ON the line. don't think they made the first.

Re: College Football 2016-17: Destination Tampa

No rooting interest here and I thought it was a stop as well. The guy Barret ran into the back of was behind the line to gain.

I thought the ball got as far as the lineman's butt. Was the butt on the marker? With no dog in the fight, I think you had to go with the call on the field.

Re: College Football 2016-17: Destination Tampa

That was as much of a 50/50 call as you could have. If it was called short on the field, no way they overturn that either. I think he made it, but we're talking by centimeters. Lineman's butt was right on the line.

Re: College Football 2016-17: Destination Tampa

FINAL: Syracuse 61 Pitt 76. Total Yards: SYR 668 Pitt 661

Re: College Football 2016-17: Destination Tampa

tOSU wins in OT, so if Penn State beats the Spartans they're in the Big 10 title game.

Re: College Football 2016-17: Destination Tampa

No chance in hell that spot was deserved but oh well. Great game and michigan is closing the gap on osu.

Re: College Football 2016-17: Destination Tampa

$9 million is a hell of a lot for an 0-2 record against Ohio State. Just sayin'.

Note: I've never liked Harbaugh's personality

Re: College Football 2016-17: Destination Tampa

So, if Pedo State (is that still a thing?) wins they go to the championship game ahead of OSU right?

So theoretically the Big Ten champ could be a two loss team missing the CFP?

Re: College Football 2016-17: Destination Tampa

May as well dredge this one up:

Probably a repeat of last year for M; 9-3 or 10-2 and a better bowl than they deserve. Either revenge in EL against MSU, or shock tOSU in Columbus for the first time since 2000. Worst case scenario, drop both and crapsie against either Iowa or Wisconsin.

I'm going with the latter. Michigan at #7 in the preseason is laughable - chalk it up to the "Harbaugh effect" and move on to playing the actual games. Even my dad, the grad, would agree with all of this.

I give myself a solid B-.

Re: College Football 2016-17: Destination Tampa

Ya i'd say you failed at the whole michigan being #7 is laughable

Committee allegedly values conf champions, who the hell knows. I bet they'd do everything they can to get them in there. Both penn state and wisconsin losing right now. If somehow they both end up losing and ohio state wins next week, michigan is probably that top two loss team.
