College Basketball ver Do Wedzenia Krzyzewski

Let's posit for a moment she's the greatest pure shooter in basketball history.

Say also she has the speed, hand-eye, vision, instincts, guts, and basketball mind. Everything except that incredible size and strength. Any chance at all for the NBA?

Kinda end up like that myers woman who married don drysdale. (Dammit, is mookie ever an old fart…)

Clark breaks Pistol Pete's NCAA all-time record, men's or women's. And Wednesday she broke the all-time women's major college scoring record over Lynette Woodard of Kansas back in the AIAW days. She still trails Pearl Moore of Francis Marion who has 4,061 points, also from the AIAW days, for the all-division, all-governing body record, but she played in the small college division which today would be D2/D3/NAIA.

The ASun and Big Sky tournaments have been fun for chaos, but really it just ends up reiterating the need for the smaller conferences to go to the WCC stepladder bracket. People make fun of it, but it both rewards teams for a good regular season and increases the conference's chance at winning a game in the tournament and earning more money by putting their best team in.

Don't worry, the big money schools will put an end to the NCAA tourney next.

The A10 isn't a one bid league most years, so I don't know if the step ladder format would be needed for them (though they normally only get 1 or 2, so maybe), but they had all upsets in the first round of their tournament. 5-8, 7-6 semifinals there.

Purdue got beat. Houston down 7 at the half to Iowa St. Even if they both lose I doubt it'll have any effect on their 1 seeding

Two games in and just under 14% of brackets remain perfect....

Yay Duquesne, lol....

I had Duquesne but not Michigan State. Creighton's gonna win relatively easily but talk about a sloppy game. They'll need more focus Saturday to get to the sweet 16.

Same here. Sparty has been so mediocre this season.

Illinois/Moorehead St. is truly a shootout. Neither team played defense in the first half. Both teams hitting cold streaks is the only reason they are both below 50 currently.

This is gonna be a fun one for the 2nd half.
