College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

I don't care about either of these teams, but holy crap - Florida beats NC State at the buzzer in OT

I like how most of the NCSU players are just sort of drifting back toward their own end, as if they were thinking about grabbing a long rebound. Um...there are 2 seconds left, guys - perhaps you should put a hand in his face instead?

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Big game for Minnesota (11-3) this week as they face #4 @Purdue on Tuesday. This will tell a lot about the hopes of the team.

2 nice conference wins so far over PSU and @Iowa.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

College of Charleston beats #9 North Carolina 82-79.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Ah, so that's where Bobby Cremins wound up.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Cornell leads #1 Kansas 41-38 at the half in Lawrence, KS.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

And the final will probably be 96-52 KU, but go Red! Beat them Chickenhawks.

Great effort by the Boys tonight. To even have a lead to blow in the last 45 seconds against the number one team in America is a huge accomplishment. We would've won this game on a neutral court.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Marquette knocks off #12 Georgetown in Milwaukee, after losing two straight games to highly ranked opponents by a total of 3 points. It's about **** time. They are playing way better than I thought they would be.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Stanford, the consensus pick for the bottom of the Pac-10, sweeps USC and UCLA at home.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Poll should be interesting tomorrow.

Kansas, Purdue, GTown, UConn, Duke all go down this week.

Texas new #1? or Kentucky?

Syracuse got back on track with two wins over Memphis and South Florida at the dome...

Still two big games remaining this week with a road game at the always tough Brown Athletic Center in Rutgers and a road showdown with West Virginia on Saturday.

Texas is #1, Kentucky is #2.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

The Big 12 is a combines 112-1 at home so far.

Now that is impressive:eek:

I'm guessing that's OOC games though correct?

Couple of big games on tonight's schedule. UConn hosts Pittsburgh and UNC travels to Clemson.

Syracuse also has a little bit of a trap game tonight at Rutgers, always a tough place to play. Hopefully they dont get caught looking ahead to Saturday's showdown with West Virginia.

Kansas returns to the court for the first time since losing its first game of the season against Tennessee on Sunday by traveling to Nebraska.

I feel sorry for the Cornhuskers. I'm expecting one p/oed Jayhawk team.

Perhaps, but I'd have expected the same thing in the TN game after being down by 1 to Cornell with ~50 seconds left. That should have been a bigger wake up call than actually losing to a pretty good team.

I don't. Nebraska basketball fans (the few of them that exist) suck. And their coach is a hick who probably thinks the N really does stand for knowledge.
