College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Dear PC basketball,

Do not go down 18 points to any team in the country and expect to win.

Hugs and kisses,
Jon

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Big Ten is 3-1 so far in the ACC/Big Ten challenge. They have lost all 10 previous challenges. They need to find 3 more wins to win their first.

Two games left tonight (in progress)
#11 UNC leads #9 MSU, and VT leads Iowa.

With 5 games tomorrow.
#5 Duke/Wis
FSU/#15 OSU
Illinois/#19 Clemson
MN/Miami
BC/Michigan

It seems likely that the Big Ten can find 3 wins in those 7 games. But you never know. My guess would be OSU, MN and 1 other finds a win.

That other team was WI.

How awesome was that game...badgers never trailed!

Pitt beats UNH 47-32. Game was 15-7 at the half. Ferg Myrick went 5-8, while the rest of the Wildcats went 7-43.

Rhode Island is too small to have directional areas such as north/south.

And too small to have competent officials, apparently. PC finds yet another creative way to lose to that crappy second rate institution.

Fire Driscoll.

I'd think of it less of a state but rather a buffer zone between Connecticut and Boston so that war doesn't break out.

We should removed and deal with the Connecticut Menace once and for all. Take that, submarine jockeys!

I hadn't been paying attention much until football ended, by sweet Jesus the Pac-10 is terrible. This is the worst I've ever seen the conference. We deserve maybe 3 spots in the tourney, and thats simply for tradition's sake. We're trying to make the SEC last year look positively dominant.

Don't blame us, San Diego and Oral Roberts are tougher than they look! :p

I'm rooting for you guys in bball OOC this year. This situation is that dire.

You're upset of Kentucky would've been nice because the talking heads wouldn't be drooling all over them or at least would have to tone it down a tad.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

I'll say it again...

Wes Johnson and Syracuse are good at basketball!

Another statement win for the Orange last night at a "neutral" court in Tampa against the Gators.

Florida was an impressive team and they are going to make a run in the SEC this year. They'll be right there with Kentucky.

Syracuse just has so many weapons. They have seven guys that can beat you and all of them have no problem letting another guy take a better shot and best of all they all buy into playing defense.

The Cuse may not have a lot of depth past seven players but those seven I'd put up against anyone else's in the country.

Yeah I still don't see how we beat UVA and were that close with Kentucky. I mean, we really aren't good this year. I'm in the student section (because they're allowing young alumni in since no one else will come) and this is by far the crappiest team I've seen.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Don't look now, but Kansas State is quietly off to a heckuva start. Pounded UNLV in Vegas Saturday night and are back in the top 25 after a year's absence.

Cornell knocks off St. John's at MSG. Good stuff. :D

I would just like to state for the record that I absolutely detest Bob Huggins.

Marquette is wearing the powder blue tonight! :)

Agreed. When I see him on TV I'm not sure if he's coaching a basketball team or trying to sell me a '78 Buick.
