College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

HOLYYYYYYY.

2OT in Salt Lake. What an OT. What a shot by Crawford from about 32 feet or more. Ridiculous.

Has Gus Johnson melted into a pile of goo yet?

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Now K-State is up 4 with one FT left and 11+ seconds left in the game. I'm not putting anything past this Xavier team!

Ah well, Kentucky was just too good, on defense especially. So proud of the team though.

Kentucky's size and athleticism was just too much to overcome. They did a great job keeping big guys outhigh at the top of the key where the screens were happening to not allow Cornell to get good look at the basket from behind the arc.

I thought Louis Dale was the only one that showed no fear in attacking the basket. The rest of the team was uneasy any time they got in the paint.

Valiant effort but you can't teach athleticism and height and Kentucky had a huge advantage with that today.

I still say Kentucky can't shoot for crap and any team that can match their ahleticism...aka West Virginia will be able to play with them.

The only thing about Wva is they don't have a lot of overly tall guys. They just have five players that are all 6'5-6'8 that start.

God, do they stick enough commercials into these games?

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

UConn women's basketball is getting silly... the only reason I'm watching is because I like Geno but otherwise i could care less about the sport... UConn led by 47 at one point. If they win the title they need to go back home and split the team into UConn A and UConn B and the side that win takes the title.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Have they been showing that NCAA.com clip all tournament? I like the ending

"GUSTAFSSON WINS THE GAME AND THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!"

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

I'm so proud of my little girl. At the start of the half, she yelled out man to man like Bill Raftery. I usually say it no matter who does the game because we had a Raftery Drinking Game when I went to Oswego. I got a huge smile on my face when she did it today.

Great game. It'll be Michigan State vs. Butler next Saturday.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

That questionable charge on Baylor turned the game around. If they call that a block, Zoubek fouls out and Baylor is up four with a free throw coming.
