Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

This guy did this last year too. I'm hoping for another one after Friday.

Going to be hard to win without lucas..not impossible but very difficult

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

even though Washington knocked out my favorite team, I think I can find it in my heart to root for them over West Virginia.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Man, **** Kentucky. That program is everything wrong with college sports, from the one and done's, to the guys that had an "out" in their commitments to Memphis, to their coach that racked up not one, but two schools in NCAA violations in his wake. I don't think he's technically ever actually been to a Final Four yet.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Kentucky is just too big, too athletic, and too strong for Cornell. The Big Red got off to a good start, but it was all Kentucky for the final 15 minutes or so of the 1st half.

32-16 at the half. Cornell led 10-2 at one point.

If it makes you feel any better, Calipari will probably end up getting investigated for cheating once again this year.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Kentucky free throws so far: 2-8. Yep, that's a Calipari team.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Cornell cuts it to 6 with 5+ to go! UK with 8 points in the 2nd so far.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Now it's Cornell bricking at the line: 4 for 9. For crying out loud.

OT in Salt Lake on a blown call by the officials.

K-state fouls the Xavier player before he throws up a 3, no call. Fouls him as he is desperately throwing up a 3, foul. He hits all 3. Tie game.
