Wisco had more goals than LIU had shots, 9 vs 7.
More goals than shots! More goals than shots! Love that chant. It's not happening tomorrow for sure but it will be interesting for you to get your own goal horn blown at you.
I actually don't think they are required to blow the horn, etc for the visitor in this game. The first game, yes, because it was a neutral ice game. This one however is hosted by the higher seed and therefore their home game. I guess we'll see ...

Crazy Q/PSU game. Was sorry someone had to lose. And to play that much extra hockey with OSU waiting around the corner is too bad. I still think the Bobcats can put up a good fight. A hot goaltender can do wonders.
Felt badly for LIU and mixed feelings for Wisconsin getting such an easy draw. Clarkson and PSU weren’t as fortunate and it almost felt inequitable. Guess there’s no other way to grow the sport.
Don’t know what to make of Saturday’s matchup other than I hope ‘Gate wins. Not sure our SOS is as strong as theirs, and not much of a believer in home ice advantage. Better teams win anywhere, regardless. Colgate is good for 2gaa on a regular basis, if not more. It’s worrisome. Our last few games, we scored quickly, and also started/ended periods with timely goals. We need to block shots and shoot the puck at all costs. Kalty will be good for a penalty or two. Hope she and Serdachny can avoid the beating they’re about to take.

Wisconsin played like they had won the WCHA title and were the No. 1 seed. It was an honor to watch such a tremendous program with so much amazing history play on our campus in our humble arena. Dare I say that after the first 90 seconds, I knew what the outcome would be. Not to take away from any ECAC team or any of Colgate's individual accomplishments, but 'Gate and Qpac were severely overmatched and Yale ran into, arguably, the stingiest goaltender in the country. If we're being honest, it would be very fair to critique our League after such an abysmal NCAA tournament. Wisconsin's game on Thursday was a speed bump, but they traveled a great distance, slept in a hotel for days, and none of it showed. Congratulations to the Badgers. And to Colgate, 3peat ECAC Champions, congratulations on such a successful season and for keeping Colgate on the map. We celebrate you. Here's hoping the League continues to get stronger.

I would give the majority of the credit for OSU's decisive win in that second game to our coach and the adjustments she made after the first game. She's the best! No wonder our opponents named herColgate played OSU twice this season; tied (somehow) and lost handily. It
