Fantastic news. No one ever saw this coming.

Deniers and one-percenters who profit most from poor environmental practices should be forced to live in those areas most affected by drought, flooding, and famine--call it the tenth circle here on earth.*

The opposite will be true, of course, but a girl can dream. As this gets progressively worse, though, the torches and pitchforks will eventually come for them.

* Yeah, all of us probably deserve some time there.

I always wondered how Planet Spaceball got to the point where oxygen had to be sold in cans and they had to steal it from Druidia.

At some point the nerds are going to have to eliminate the jocks for planetary preservation. A little arsenic in the Brawndo should do it.

Nah, we'll just continue to sneak soy into everything it's not already in. Haven't you heard that it feminizes everyone? :D

Nerds hit their peak with the atomic hot in the jock straps at Adams College

All downhill since

The Water Will Come is another good read on the climate and rising waters. Miami is a big focus, was really interesting as I didn’t know the history of how it was developed.

Also details nicely how one party continues to stymie research , study and action. Sometimes, both sides are not bad.

It's pretty interesting how that is a consistent theme. It's also pretty interesting how polar opposite it is to the meaning of the word conservative.

If you listen to don Shelby on this topic, he rants about that. Said he was raised conservative and doesn’t understand why the party has abandoned the actual meaning to be anti-science

The most interesting and aggravating chapter may be the one about Norfolk naval base . Basically, the officers and engineers all know it is going under from flooding and has 30-50 years left at most. But they can’t refer to it as climate change because the Virginia republicans get too mad.

Australia is the Texas of continents. What else do you expect from the former British penal colony? ;)

Starting tomorrow NO plastic bags in Thailand.

What’s so hard??

Today Big C started early. We carried 6 cokes back to the condo and girl used her bag to carry the rest.

Again, why not?
