Starting tomorrow NO plastic bags in Thailand.

What’s so hard??

Today Big C started early. We carried 6 cokes back to the condo and girl used her bag to carry the rest.

Again, why not?

Here in the US change is the devil!

https://thehill.com/policy/energy-e...ecord-sourcing-almost-half-of-power-from-wind

Denmark has reportedly set a record by sourcing almost half of its power from wind energy.

The European country received 47 percent of its electricity from wind in 2019, based on preliminary data, the grid operator Energinet said Thursday, according to Reuters. This is an increase from wind accounting for 41 percent of the power in 2018, and it also bypasses the 2017 record of 43 percent.

I got that the first time and then was able to read it. It’s basically some hack saying the fires aren’t that big of deal and everyone needs to stop whining. Pretty hard to fathom how anyone could come to that conclusion.

Same conclusion every Republican came to for Flint Michigan or California Wildfires.

Of course.

“ BREAKING: The Trump administration will proposal a new rule that would relieve agencies from having to consider climate change when they approve projects like pipelines, highways and other big infrastructure projects, according to a new report. Changes to how agencies must conduct environmental impact statements are expected to be unveiled next week and could drastically alter the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), one of America’s bedrock environmental laws. NEPA has been a chief target of President Trump, who has vowed to cut red tape for infrastructure projects including pipelines and other major energy projects.”

Has the US done much to help Australia? I know some celebrities have donated money but haven’t heard much else.

No offense to the people that went but for a country with our resources that is basically nothing. Completely embarrassing we can’t offer more help for what is probably our biggest ally in the Southern Hemisphere.

Another 4 years of Dump, and we'll be bigly friends with Brasil/Bolsonaro. Boeing/Embraer joint venture will get done ensuring Boeing engineers can help fark up the E2 series, and plenty of rainforests to be pillaged using American equipment/contractors. Done deal!

What are we gonna do? The Republican White House thinks climate change is made up and that it’s ok the amazon burns. Why would they care a bout helping Australia?

The 60 Minutes story on Venice was heartbreaking. They at least have a chance if their flood barrier project works, but soon it's going to be too late for other cities no matter what we do.

they might care about helping Australia because Australians are white? I assume that's why Trump doesn't get a **** about a certain US territory that has been devastated by hurricanes and earth quakes
