Re. Cody Ferriero.. beginning of season skated very undisciplined. Cost us a few gms with untimely penalties. Was even benched by the coach for a gm/gms.

Even though his stats don't show it now.. he is skating smarter & playing good hockey across the ice. He is young & has skill. I am sure he will be getting more shots to the net & good things will happen for him, this season & coming seasons. Also, he is surrounded by some pretty darn good skaters. Anyway, his best hockey is ahead of him.

Oleksiak is gonna see a ton of playing time against the Sislo-DeSimone-Thompson line. That is UNH's top line right?

They are one of the top scoring lines in the nation, however, I'd say that the 2nd line of Moses-Goumas-Borisenok has been playing as good as anyone as of late...

Everyone knows that Dogs tear apart cats. This weekend will be no exception. UNH, have fun falling to 3rd place behind BC and Merrimack

And have fun not having home ice.... and not reaching the garden...and not making the NCAA's...... again

Who says we won't make it to the garden? With the way we have played in the new year, that's not beyond reach. Home ice is a stretch (only two possible scenarios out of a bunch will yeild us home ice, so yeah, we're gonna miss that one) but making it to the garden isn't out of the question. Sorry to make the kitty cat angry, but lighten up. We know how you must feel. We're in the same boat (University of No Hardware and us having the NU Invitational that bu won this year). But it is going to be ok.

Spring is break Friday 3/11 - Sunday 3/20. The HE quarter finals will be and always are without most students and strangely many season ticket holders. Student tickets for tonight's game were still available Wednesday. The only team that truly excites the students is Maine, although BU and maybe BC generate interest as well.

Anywho back to the present, cant wait to see thompson's line, ive always been really impressed by him, not surprised in the least that he is having the season that he is. Should be a good series, id be fine with 2 points anything less and im worried.

O.K. Haven't had much to say but somebody needs to tell the radio boys (who do an excellent job) that it is not "remember the Alamo -DiGir"a"lamo" it is DiGir"o"lamo as in "ocelot". I went to Matt"s dad,John,and asked him at one of the games. If they are going by Coach's pronunciation he'd be the first to tell ya that he don't always get 'em right.

sigh.. why can't NU hold a lead?.. regardless, they played quite well through 2. UNH is a good team & that showed in the tail end of the 2nd & parts of the 3rd period. Both goalies played quite well. 2 gms, 2 ties.. someone win tomorrow!

I thought the 2nd UNH goal went in off a NU player.. game of bounces.
Still, getting a point on the road against a top team..not all bad.

Nice comeback UNH.
Let's go NU, can we take 3 out of 4 pts..back to back wknds against the top of the league?.. we'll find out soon enough.
