Re: Campaign 2016 Part XIII: Clinton destrueretur est. Trump est destruetur. Vox Pop

Problem is he has nothing on them. The ones that arent up for re-election know he is politically dead come November and those that are know he will drag them down with him. He can bully the House but the Senate is out of his league.

Politically, maybe. There's a lot he can do in the business world and the media. At least, he thinks he can.

Right but they know he cant so they wont pay him the time of day.

I see the State Department is going to continue investigating Clinton...so glad we can focus on this instead of the real problems in this country. It isnt like we are days away from riots over racial issues with the cops, we need to know about dem emails!!!1!!!

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XIII: Clinton destrueretur est. Trump est destruetur. Vox Pop

It's how he gets what he wants. He's a bully, it's all he knows. He wants their backing, and if they won't give it, then he's gonna bully and attack them until they cower into a ball and give it. See Chris Christie.

Thing is, he is doing exactly what he purports to oppose in his outsider act: using party pressure to force elected officers to support policies they would oppose if they had the stones to say "no"--purely for the sake of political survival. He's using his imagined political cache to enforce conformity. Blatant hypocrisy.

He is truly a child, and more and more people are starting to see that, leaving him kicking and screaming at the candy rack.

I have to say though, he still scares me less than Ted Cruz did. With Trump, it scares me to contemplate what we have become to support such an act. Cruz scared me for what he would do with the power that comes with the office.

AP classes were the best thing I ever did and the biggest mistake I've ever made.

I went into college as a sophomore and a half. Quantum mechanics was my first class, 8 AM, fall semester, freshman year. No college physics, bio, chem, or first year calc. It took me two years to adjust and get my GPA back to a B average.

God they need to find a way to better mentor students who take advantage of these things.

Edit: *annoyed grunt*. Didn't see we were on the next page.

At first I too was more scared of the likes of Cruz and Carson. My thought was they believed the things they said, more or less, and Trump was playing a TV character. I had no idea what he believed. I don't feel that way anymore though. The evidence is out there now that Trump really is as bad as his rhetoric. I have never felt this way about the person I did not want to see win a presidential election, but this country (and the world, really) will rue the day if Trump wins on November 8th.

Didn't these dum bass negros see the Rodney King tapes?!?!

Lay still on the ground and you won't get a beating!!!

Keerist almighty!! Enough

Wall Street Journal Confirms The GOP Is In Insurrection Mode

That isnt the New York Times or the Washington Post...this is the bastion of liberal politics that is THE WALL STREET JOURNAL! If they are right and they have 20 votes already...well it isnt going to work but the convention is going to be a civil war. The media is thinking:

The Lesser Joe Walsh Says Nice Things to Obama

This is the former Congressman from Illinois Joe Walsh who has a radio show and said:

<img src=http://images.complex.com/complex/image/upload/t_in_content_image/joe%20walsh_o9zcow.jpg>

Real America...I wonder what he means by that? He deleted the tweet when people went nuts about it and then posted this to try and not sound like a racist tool who threatened the President on an open social forum:

"I wasn't calling for violence, against Obama or anyone. Obama's words & BLM's deeds have gotten cops killed. Time for us to defend our cops."

The really sad thing is, this guy is not alone.

If this race relations issue stays front/center into the fall...Hillary will get even more backing. If that's even possible. Even among those that are split on it, race relations is another issue on which Trump can't win.

All I know is the GOP went all in on Hillary getting indicted. You could tell during yesterdays hearing that they were shocked, dismayed, and flabbergasted that Hillary wasn't being arraigned.

They threw a hail mary and hoped for the best. Its all they have left.

The GOP Congress also went all in on Slick's impeachment. You have to know when you have a chance at conviction, despite the accused's guilt or innocence.

In Bill's case, a better solution mayshave been to cut his salary in half. Since they live at taxpayer expense, it would be painful, but not fatal.

In Her case, an administrative punishment designed to cause her shame and humiliation may be in order.

Hillary has incurred a stiff sentence already. There is enough press around this to start up a major media company. Regarding Bill, the GOP burned many, many dollars in the form of government resources just trying to make the dude look bad when he was trying to run the country.

Unfortunately, there is little cost to the accuser of extremely expensive accusations on issues with relatively small real world ramifications. The only cost to the accuser is in years to come 'oops, I was wrong...oh well, time to forget'.

Its what he wanted to do at 9 yrs old. I wanted him to do engineering, he had the first 2 semesters of calc done in High School. if you get Calc you are on your way to an engineering degree but he would have none of it. He hopes to be flying for a regional by this time next summer.

Knowing him I have no doubts that he will!

Talking strictly of the Impeachment thing, I thought the costs to the GOP were dire.

If you aren't old enough you won't remember this, but from 1980 and thru the 1990's the GOP had a lock on the "values" issue. For whatever reason, be it the marriage of Reagan and the Christian right or whatever, Republicans were thought of amongst the press and the electorate in general as being morally superior god fearin' people. The Impeachment Hearings destroyed that, because half of them got exposed themselves as either cheaters or as we found out later in Dennis Hastert's case - child molesters. The hypocrites are legendary. Gingrich. Hyde. Barr. Hastert. Livingston. Vitter. Sanford. And many many more. It seems quaint now, especially after a lot of those televangelist types also turned out to be conservapervs, but the whole Clinton investigation debacle really exposed the Republican party for what they really were, not the image they had created for themselves.

While I would like to think that...the senate came out of it split and the house in the hands of the GOP. Oh and a certain 8 year term of W lay in the future. It seems to have sacrificed several GOP operatives for the standing president...while leaving the ideologies at best untouched and at worst favoring the GOP in upcoming elections.

The GOP was/is the party of values just like the Ds are the party of the working man. It's all a facade to garner votes to maintain power.

The state department (not the dept of justice) is re opening its investigation into Hillary's emails.
