eke it out. Eek is the sound Veronica Lodge makes when she hears a Sanders speech.

You don't want to know what kind of a sound Kep makes when he hears a Bernie speech, but it sounds sorta like Jenna Jameson in her prime... :D

If Her Royal Clintoness loses NY - did she blow her second 2nd half lead? I can't see the Establishment embracing the Bern. Do they send her to Plum Island on a campaign stop and forget to send the boats back to retrieve her and bring in Joe in his White Amtrak car?

Even if Clinton loses every remaining state, as long as she doesn't get blown out by 10 points or more across the board, she'll still win.

It will soon enough, so make sure you come out here and take your lumps. :D

As I've said, when that day comes I'll be fine. I know you're giddy at her majesty's apotheosis; I won't like it but we ally with who we can to fight the White Walkers.

I just hope, if the country rejects Hillary's warmed-over gruel yet again, that the Clintonistas do the same. When I imagine which side is more likely to have a fit and try to gum up the works if their champion loses, I'm not worried about Bernie's folks at all. On the other hand, the queen's retinue won't be happy.

The math is bad but the supers could actually screw her over (which would be hysterical). Let's say Bernie wins the big state primaries going down the line by 5-10 points, and the margins get bigger as we go along. Further, let's say something very nasty happens with The Entourage: Hillary helped torture Kazakh democracy protesters while Bill was banging the dictatoress (?) in the next room, Chelsea gives birth to a two-headed Draconian baby at a secret Bilderberg Planned Parenthood pre-natal clinic, etc. The June polling shows Bernie beating Drumpf by 20 and Hillary losing by 20.

At that point, the DNC for one would welcome their new Bernie overlords.

I'll believe that when I see it Kep. Hillary supporters are hiring somebody to do the job of President. You Bernouts have formed a cult. Cult members don't give up the ghost very easily. Bernie is a political version of the Moonies.

I have no doubts about that, nor do I have any doubts that you'll be on here gloating about lots of things that you only think he said.

They won't do that if they're smart. This is the year of the anti-establishment candidate. I adore Handsome Joe but he's about as anti-establishment as U.S. Steel.

If it comes down to Sanders-Drumpf, Bernie will win in a rout, holding all the Democrats and probably stealing a fair number of Drumpf supporters who get sick of his shtick. Then Bernie will only be able to enact what moderates agree to, which won't be strange at all since he's been able to govern effectively as a moderate in the past. So there's no reason to screw him if he's in a position to win.

If Clinton somehow creaks across the finish line, she'll be fine in the fall too. Bernie's people are motivated by a very strong reaction against the arch-finkery of the right, so they'll come out. And a woman running against Drumpf will create a gender gap so wide half the GOP Senate may fall into it.

If Bern will be restrained by the moderates, why wouldn't tD?

I think the video kicks in after The Grope. At least the one I saw.

The girl definitely lost her sh-t, but good god the crowd reaction is terrifying. They sound exactly the same as a Somali mob getting ready to drag a body through the streets, because they are exactly the same.

The Trumpies acted like idiots without question. That anyone would lash out at her with typical knuckle-dragger vitriol is a problem that I would never defend. But take each action on their own. If she in fact reached out and clocked someone she dropped the gloves. Doesn't defend every type of counter-action that could result, but she interjected herself physically into an already heated environment. And lest anyone forget Trump makes me sick as does the vast majority of FOX Opinion Channel commentary. I just can't see how her being a complete rerun in this moment can be overlooked.

If she got groped she's well within her rights to start swinging IMO.

And at least Bernie, when it comes to negotiating policy, will start with a left position and then compromise to the middle, unlike Obama, at least in his first term, who began negotiations just barely left of center, if at all, and then ended up with some sort of center-right, or fully right final bill.

You're just wrong, Rove. I know you can't see it, but ironically you've bought into a "pundidiot" narrative that has no reality. The fact that you've been corrected at every turn, by people who actually back Bernie, and still can't adjust your rhetoric to reality is oddly enough one of the telltale signs of a cultist.

I notice though that you failed to respond in kind that you're Blue No Matter Who rather than Hillary or Huff. Kinda tells me what I need to know about the Clintonistas.

Correct. Because Bernie is driven by an idea he'll negotiate to get as much of his preferred policy outcome as he wants. The Clintons negotiate to whatever benefits them, personally. That's better than the GOP, who are actively pushing for evil outcomes, of course. But it's why I prefer a committed liberal to a pragmatic political animal. I'll settle for her, sure. But no way is that a first choice.

No, I think he's a party theoretician who was elevated to the Chairman of the Politburo and discovered having is not the same as wanting.

Funny. A friend made that exact point to me today. My response was...Bernie may start with a further left position than Obama. But if he's much further left than Obama, he'll lose part of the Congressional Dems. Then he's got bigger problems. I don't see the net outcome on average being any better than Obama's.
