I've already started adjusting my portfolio for some Dark MAGA profiteering. Private prisons, defense, domestic semiconductor manufacturing and their suppliers, and a bunch of energy suppliers because "Drill baby, drill!" Still staying out of crypto, but I've got Coinbase on my watch list just for the post-election lulz.

I went to do the same thing this week, hovered over send, and found out that even after 25 years in my work there are still things I won't do. I'm sure in the miserable annals of the Earth I will be duly enshrined.
 
A feather in dx's cap, sounds like a lot of people have left Twitter of late and most have gone to Bluesky. I checked my Bluesky today and there definitely was a fair amount of activity that I hadn't seen previously.

All it took was a few big accounts.

yesterday APC posted and it got ~50k likes in a couple hours. Previous high I had seen was in the 5-6k.
 
I've moved over to Bluesky last week. It is ok, but I wish WMU would move their stuff over there too.

After 10+ years, I finally canned my Xitter account on 11/15 after hearing about the latest ToS changes. That app is going to become a clusterfark of bots-in-training for whatever narrative Elon and his billionaire friends want to shape.

I refuse to use Threads because of the association with Meta & Zuckerturd. Rather than sign up for Bluesky, I think that for now I've decided to just let social media go and find more productive & interesting ways to waste my time. Technically I'm still on LinkedIn, but that doesn't really count as SM in my book.
