Business, Economics, and Taxes: Eat Cereal for Dinner

Im starting to think he wants to rule the world

This is why billionaires need to be taxed, and taxed hard.
Uh, yeah that’s not a secret. The billionaire class wants a system where they make the decisions and the serfs have to fall in line.

The interesting thing is they have convinced themselves it's for the common good. Even funnier, these are typically billionaires who either inherited their money or got it by just pushing around other people's cash to exploit other people's brilliance.

They're literally the last people on Earth with any reason to think they are accomplished.

And that's the way the world works and for some reason the uneducated masses love it. Elon Musk is a cancer on society and people love their cancer.

I am stunned. Uhc ceo murdered outside hotel in manhattan today before investor conference

I had met him a few times over the years. Jfc only 50

I know many of his staff, this is surreal

i will not comment on the company or what they do today, but think of his two sons who lost dad today

so many thousands of employees who have lost jobs last few years (hello) but more likely related to someone being denied care, I’d think

Or, nutjobs riled up against Big Pharma by RFK JR and the Repubs.

Some crazy rumors out there. One that stuck out was a DOJ investigation (again, not sure if true) about insider trading and investors who lost millions but execs sold early

He was the CEO on the insurance side, not the overall company. So I would suspect it was someone disgruntled with denied care, or dragged feet, in the name of corporate profits.

I worked there for decades, I’m well aware of his role. This is why I was very clear uhc and not uhg.

While that’s the most likely scenario I can think of at least two others that wouldn’t be insane

I don't condone it, but I'm really struggling to feel an ounce of sympathy for a man that runs the company with the worst denial rate in the entire industry. Fuck him and rest in piss.

I’m guessing in true UHC fashion the company will be forcing the family to pay for his ambulance ride and autopsy?

I’m struggling only because I have friends who spent a lot of time with him and they are in shock. As is my friend who was in the conference already setting up when it happened.

there isn’t a Fortune 500 ceo in MN that would make me sad by dying.

speaking of mn , fuck cargill. Only 2.5b profit so cutting 8k jobs so Kathy cargill can buy more of Duluth
