Twitter is acting up again. I can access the site, but Tweets don't always load into the feed.

Outside of links here I havent opened Twitter in days. Every so often I think about it but I don't need to rage against Nazis and Bots that badly.

I would guess Musk took away the restriction on who can view it because engagement was down to amazingly low levels. You think history would have told him a Right Wing dominated social media platform is doomed to fail. How is Gab doing these days? People clamoring for Parlour to make a big return? How much is Truth Social even mentioned in the zeitgeist except when one nimrod posts?

Elon forgot that if you make money on engagement, you don't actively disenfranchise those that create the content for free for you.

SAG-AFTRA walked away from the table and will go on strike tomorrow!

Meanwhile Bob Iger is going around making himself look stupid every time he talks about it.

Interesting that all the "anti-corporatist" posters around here have yet to comment on the strike. Must be too busy watching all the shows the writers and actors get screwed over on...

SCREW THE BILLIONAIRES!! Except the ones whose shows I watch!!

And yes, in case you are wondering I totally mean you!

I posted it in the Movie thread but Fran Drescher’s press conference speech was pretty powerful. She’s taken a lot of heat as SAG-AFTRA President but she managed to unite and galvanize the entire union (and honestly the greater labor movement) in five minutes.

I assume I'm included. I am 100% for the writers and creators and wish they would United Artists the parasites and cut them off.

I'm a hypocrite about public assistance and low income housing, not labor rights. Try to keep up.

It's just a weird post. It's one thing for someone to never comment on labor issues. But I don't think every world event that comes up requires commenting. Like, we can support the unions without posting on u s c h o dot com within 12 hours of it breaking.

Birds of a feather flock to the moyenne bourgeoisie 'hoods and sip overpriced drinks together.

It's a fair cop.

Her PC was awesome. She may be a crazy moonbat who hates vaccines but she is representing her membership well. And with Bob Iger going Vince McMahon on the bit she just looks like a hero.

The best tweet I saw on an entertainment board I go to mentioned how the average writer makes about 69k a year, Bob Iger makes 74k A DAY! And yet he says it is the writers being unreasonable.

edit: I cant seem to find the movie thread these days. That was why I posted the info in here. I wonder if it is because I blocked a certain poster...

Actually, if I am being honest, it was meant for a specific poster. I worded it that way though to see who would think I am talking about them :^)
