Both BU 2025 recruits playing for BCHL West Kelowna--Jack Pridham and Callum Hughes--have moved to their OHL draft teams: Pridham to the Kitchener Rangers and Hughes to the Erie Otters. 2026 recruit Haoxi Simon Wang signs with OHL Oshawa. He's the third BU recruit to head to MJ since the rules change, along with 2025s Jack Pridham (Kitchener) and Callum Hughes (Erie).

A Dobber Prospects scout writes: "Massive. Haoxi Wang has shown all the tools to be in first-round consideration in the #2025NHLDraft. Everyone knows he’s 6’6 and mean, but he has the feet and intelligence to carve out a career beyond those physical gifts. The OHL should serve him very well."
