BU at Lowell, Lowell at BU 10/30-31

Re: BU at Lowell, Lowell at BU 10/30-31

I have decided that I would rather it be Sunday and just know what the results are. I don't want the stress of worrying anymore.:o

Re: BU at Lowell, Lowell at BU 10/30-31

Ba-ziiiiiing!

Uh, suuuure. This coming from a school that has a banner for a Hobey Baker candidate. Not a winner (as the banner incorrectly states), a candidate. :)

That really wasn't a defense of your post. :o

Which banner? The one on the concourse at Tsongas? The Hobey finalist banner is correct with two names (Bullock and Roloson) and the Hobey winner banner is correct with two names (Lohnes and Carr).

Re: BU at Lowell, Lowell at BU 10/30-31

how do you know?
The Lowell game notes are up for Friday's game.

Referee:.......................................................Tim Benedetto
Referee:........................................................ Kevin Keenan
Linesman: ................................................... Jean-Yves Roy
Linesman:....................................................... Chris Aughe

Is that the same Jean-Yves Roy that played for Maine in the early 90's?

Re: BU at Lowell, Lowell at BU 10/30-31

I remember noticing this a few years ago at Tsongas - I think these are Diovision 2 Hobey winners?

Re: BU at Lowell, Lowell at BU 10/30-31

I'm fairly certain it says D-II on that banner, just like their national championship banners say D-II.

Re: BU at Lowell, Lowell at BU 10/30-31

it's fun when people that don't know what they're talking about are trying to "nail" you a la stephen colbert.

Re: BU at Lowell, Lowell at BU 10/30-31

Since UML belongs in a lower league, I think D-II banners are appropriate. :D

Re: BU at Lowell, Lowell at BU 10/30-31

Will Joe Periera be in the line up Friday for the Terriers? CHN's Injury report section has him as questionable.

Unless Pereira got injured sometime between 5 pm yesterday and now, and CHN somehow found out before I did, Pereira is not injured. He was 100% in practice yesterday. Also, Gaudet will most likely be back this weekend, so that "out until November" for him isn't accurate either. I have a full BU injury update at the bottom of my weekend preview:

Re: BU at Lowell, Lowell at BU 10/30-31

I wouldn't put a lot of faith in that CHN injury report. They list Maine's Shemansky out indefinitely presumably after he was taken off the ice in the game against UMass, but he ended up playing the next night against UNH.

Re: BU at Lowell, Lowell at BU 10/30-31

Now all you BU fans will have their choice of fried dough. The traditional kind and a relatively new item, Churros. They should have some Churros available at the pizza stand (which, BTW, has changed over to Uno's personal pizzas). Bring along a few extra dollars though as some of the prices have gone up. The ATM is no longer in the lobby but behind Section M on the concourse (not sure if you were aware of that fact either).

I remember when they had churros at the Tully Forum (actually, I think they still do at Chelmsford High games). Yet another solid investment by the Tsongas concession stands.
