That's true...Bemidji was the 16 seed but didn't play BU because of the 2 CCHA teams that got in as 4 seeds (They couldn't play each other)...Ohio State was the 15, Air Force 14 and Miami 13. OSU would have been out.

It begs an interesting question for Lowell fans, though. While I am not on the "You can't mess with destiny" bandwagon, given how BU progressed through the playoffs, with several important game winning/tying goals in BIG games coming off opposing teams' players, one could think that had that goal been counted or Lowell managed to actually put one past Millan on one of their several golden opportunities and the game was tied that - if BU were to score the game winner late or in OT - it might have gone off a Lowell player. Would that have been worse for you? I'm thinking no, as that outcome would have had some finality to it and what happened last year did not (because no one knows what the outcome would have been).

Back on to the game topic - they still sell fried dough there, correct???

it would have given Lowell a fair shake, so of course it wouldn't have been worse than the way things actually happened. all we ever wanted was a chance to equitably play for something and an apology that we were robbed of it.

whatever happened after that point in the game would have been acceptable because at least everything would've been played on the up and up.

Lowell doesn't exactly have a reputation for winning big games, so I'd imagine even if they'd scored 3 illegal goals they'd still end up losing to BU in that contest. :D

i'll give the three playoff games they won in pretty convincing fashion last year before the league boned them the bad news, you moron.
