BU at Lowell, Lowell at BU 10/30-31

Re: BU at Lowell, Lowell at BU 10/30-31

c'mon!!!

"the" is a definite article, which is used to refer to a specific or particular noun (in this case, the injury that caused Barry Goers to miss almost the entirety of last night's game). "a" or "an" is an indefinite article, used to modify an unspecific noun.

i think you'll find that leswp knows that the injury was not a sprained ankle, and i used the context clue of a frowny face to surmise that it was more serious than that.

also, did you gave a stroke or something? your post is just an insane mishmash of barely cogent half-thoughts.

After careful analysis and deliberation, I have decided that UMass-Lowell has the most pathetic fans, youtube video game recaps and radio play-by-play in the entire country.

Goes to show what I've been saying all along. Lowell is a low rent school with low rent fans in a low rent city. What else would you expect.

Well you have to atleast admit they have the best crack in all of New England . Many thanks to all the Lowell fans who joined me for a pre game smoke last night. Good times!

Has anyone here ever tried playing hockey with a sprained ankle? Because I have. You can't cut on that ankle, you can't stop with that ankle, you can't push off hard with that ankle. Essentially, you can glide, but not skate. Not too many players can be effective at the D-I level by gliding. Don't get me wrong - there are definitely hockey players who have played through sprained ankles before (hell, Bobby Baun played on a broken ankle); I just don't know how they do it. Having tried it myself, I can't fault anyone for missing time with a sprained ankle. But who knows, maybe I'm just a sissy. :p

When the team announces the injury report then it is public knowledge. Just sayin' it ain't no ankle.:(

Your national championship banners qualify it. The Hobey banner should as well. Because it's misleading to say otherwise, especially for the DI winners from those years.

Yes, I'm sure George McPhee and Mark Fusco are foaming at the mouth over this slight.

Re: BU at Lowell, Lowell at BU 10/30-31

Thank you.

oh and to the guy who said BU scored on a lot of "fluky goals" if you want to call Alex Chiasson sniping a shot under the post high glove side, a well executed 2 on 1 where Warsofksy's shot goes high right under the post, and Colby Cohen blasting a slapshot "fluky", then okay.

The shots weren't fluky, not on my mind anyway. Hutton letting that softy in was a fluke, and the defense allowing so many odd man rushes is far from the normal tight defense play we're used to.

I'm hoping the UML mistake train was a fluke, otherwise tonight is going to be a long night.
