Other than going 1-17 on the powerplay and losing I thought they played alright! Looking forward to Bloody Sunday.

Ok. Is mookie a BC fan? I can't event tell anymore with how BU fans are jumping off the boat. I would like to say that BC fans ought to be careful about how confident they are. A loss vs Umass and last minute win against NU are nothing to be proud of. If they want to, they can cite how BU sucks right now, but that doesn't change that they have played some very tenuous games against some mid-level teams. Wins are wins and a 1 goal win is technically the same as a 3 goal win, but I'd be uneasy with the last few games if I were BC. Now let's see the BC fans cite all the evidence showing how awesome they are. BU fans know this season isn't going that well for us, we don't need BC fans to tell us that thanks.

Well, it was 2-1 Good Guys after 2, then I left to pick up my wife at the airport, then I come home to a 3-2 OT loss. What happened?!?

It should be a big game for both teams Sunday and I expect an exciting rock em sock em game being bitter rivals. Throw the records out when these 2 teams play. BC is not as talented as last year but they're playing better than I thought they would before the season. With the loss of Atkinson and J. Hayes, the line of Arnold, Kreider, and Hayes has 7, 8, 4 goals respectively and other guys are contributing on offense. See some of you BU fans at Conte on Sunday.

Where do these people come from?

mookie is a BU fan, by the way.

Tonight's game made me mad more than discouraged. I thought their play was a definite 180 from last Saturday night, at least for 2 1/2 periods. While they still aren't scoring on the powerplay, they did seem to play better on it. Meaning - shots! And their faceoffs were much better. And I am usually never one to complain about calls, and I had no issues with any of BU's other penalties, why is it the one penalty that I felt was very iffy was the one that Merrimack scores on? WHY??? 2:24 to go in the game and THAT is what is called? Jeez.

They definitely played well, lost to a far better team IMO. No way around that. 37 Penalty minutes to 18....

Cannata also stood on his head.

1. The PP is beyond belief. The pointmen dance around, swoop in, dart left, dart right, accomplish nothing. There is too much carry, not enough puck movement.

2. Still, Canata was terrific in the first two periods. He made 3 or 4 top notch saves during a 4 - 5 minute span of the 2nd period. The game could have been 4 - 1, or 5 - 1 after two periods.

3. Defense was better, but MC still knocked them off the puck too much down low.

4. It pains me to say this, but I expect BC to tune them up real good Sunday PM.
