Re: Brown - Oops! They did it again.

Nice job digit... Is it true that you had a 3-1 lead?????.....but some how you and the people on this thread will find a way to blame the girls......another loss .....4 to 3

Nice?

Hey zero zero 7..can I get two minutes for thinking?

Re: Brown - Oops! They did it again.

It was heart-warming and sad to see all the former players that left the program prematurely at the game today cheering on their teammates. You are a class act! Thanks to all the seniors for your dedication, hard work and commitment regardless how many years you played: Sasha Van Muyen, Erin Connors, Nicole Brown, Jenny Cedorchuk, Amanda Asay, Elizabeth Dennis, and Andrea Hunter. You will always be a Brown Bear to me. A special shout out to this year’s Panda Bear recipient Joy Joung, you never cease to impress!

Re: Brown - Oops! They did it again.

HEY 5 4 (GETTING THE CRAP KICKED OUT OF YA) Only 3 girls out of 7 are left. I wounder why?????. Go get a program and hit yourself over the head with it.

Re: Brown - Oops! They did it again.

You Can't so...I think your an idiot.

While I am loathe to talk about anything other than the seniors on THEIR day, I do think that it may help one understand where some of the game management frustration expressed originates.

The players no longer with the program this year accounted for 24 points last season. In addition, the veteran players remaining on the team have produced 28 less points this season.

Not to put to fine of a point on it, imagine what may have been if the team stayed intact and benefited from the 24 points that the freshman contributed this season.

To Fan007,
I do not know the answer to your question. I should have said, "The players that are no longer with the progam this year...." to avoid any perceived innuendo or speculation. I'll edit my original post accordingly.

Brown Parent: It is impossible to be a Brown Parent and not know the details of the girls' termination. It's all that we talk about in the stands. So, either you were not present at any of the games or you remain in denial. It was great to see a lot of the former players at the game despite the way they were treated. Proves my point that their is no limit to their loyalty and commitment to the team. I wanted to vomit when I saw Digit hug the seniors and then hand over the Panda Bear trophy to a junior who is a great kid but hasn't seen 5 minutes of ice time in her college career. The persecution continues. Also revealing: Brown's captains TBA. Time's run out ... just another slap in the face to the team. I honestly don't think Digit can help herself.

If you were truly a parent, then you and I both know you have the answer but are refusing to post it. 2 more questions, parent:

1) Where in the world is Carmen Coady? You'd think he'd at least show up for the senior festivities, don't ya think! He's been MIA for 3 weeks, what's up with that?

2) How did your daughter feel last year when she was bypassed for captain after Digit chose a sophomore and a junior. This year, she was bypassed again as Digit apparently didn't pick captains this year [how'd I miss that one?]

That shows complete disrespect. Someone on this thread wrote that if they were coach, the first thing they'd do was show some respect for the players. I'd say that'd be a good start. I don't think there's a college team in the country that doesn't have a captain. Only in Digit's world......
You should join 5 4 fighting and take a program and hit yourself in the head too. You're missing the obvious - on purpose, methinks! I hope you're a better example to your daughter - stand up for yourself!

Cookie,

I'm very sure Brown Parent has heard all of the talk surrounding the players no longer on the team.

You may choose to talk about it and may think it consumes all of the attention in the stands. You may be bitter about the situation for reasons not disclosed here as I am beginning to doubt you are who you say you are. Let's face it, in all of my years, I've never met an parent so bitter about players who aren't even teammates of their child that they would act out in such a way as you do here. This campaign sounds more like angry payback from a former player than a parent who is truly interested in the team her daughter plays on.

I think Brown Parent chooses to exhibit discretion in discussing the particulars on this forum and would rather not be negative about his daughter's team in an online public forum. For this I can greatly respect his/her restraint. Thank you Brown Parent for representing the decency of parents on struggling programs everywhere.

Not in denial, I simply do not know the details but I can see the negative affect on the team. As a parent of a player that graduated several years ago, I quietly buy a ticket, sit down and watch the game.

All I know is, I'm very excited to see how Brown improves next year. Between some of new exciting recruits coming in, and a few more cuts to eliminate some more "noise", they are destined to improve substantially.

Go Bruno, Go Digit/Coady/Jill!!

More cuts? As Dr. Phil would say: "how's that working for you, Digit?"

As for your statement "Go Digit/Coady/Jill", I concur. Go - Going & Gone. hahahaha

My bad! In post #260, you identified yourself as a parent. A bit misleading, wouldn't you say? You identified yourself as 1 of the 2..... ccookie79 being the other one. So which statement is true? Oh, that's right you don't answer direct questions.

You know, Parent, I applaud your loyalty to the team, but as a supporter of Brown generally, shouldn't you be concerned with the way their treating the players?

fan007,
Nothing misleading about it, I think it is appropriate to refer to myself as a Brown parent considering that I am still alive and footing the bill of my daughter's Ivy education. As to the second question, I am concerned about the direction of the program and have addressed my concerns with the AD. Have you?

Sadly for my bank account, more than my first home.
