5 4 Forgive my ignorance. Who is Jamie Kivi? Why does she need to be voted into the skills competition?

Thanks

Re: Brown - Oops! They did it again.

But you are the great legal mind to interpret it for us. :D

That was the first nice thing you've said to me on this forum.

So I think I will make my exit with the words of Abe Lincoln...
"Things change, that's just the way it is"

Care to explain that to ccookie79 so she can get over the 2 players no longer on the roster?

No Problem PapaStars and forgive me... but do to the nature of this thread and knowing that Jamie would never want to be associated with this kind of "hockey talk" as I believe she has a higher calling, I would ask that you refer to the Elmira Soaring Eagles 2010 site for further info on the NCAA Skills competition and Jamie Kivi herself. I just posted the College announcement on there for your review and consideration.

Thanks for your support!

I'm a foreigner and not up on my American history...but did Abe pass away without finishing that sentence?

No, but it's actually by Tupac, so there's a chance he did.

My other quote was Kanye West too, I just thought they sounded better coming from presidents.

OK, Thanks...just one more thing before you exit 85er. I asked you a question a number of pages ago and never got a reply so...was wondering if you would give me your opinion on if you think running up the score in a women's college hockey game against a weaker opponent is a good thing?

I think as long as the scores not in the double digits then it's alright, after that it just starts to get embarrassing.

Re: Brown - Oops! They did it again.

Just to clarify, the applicable standard here is not the freedoms guaranteed in the US or any other country, but the rules of USCHO, which each of us agreed to abide by when we registered. Some of the guidelines are spelled out here. But yes, admin can close or delete threads, suspend or ban posters, without violating anyone's constitutional rights.

I wasn't challenging what the Admin can or cannot do. I was questioning the poster's desire to stifle free speech.

And how do you know the poster desired to stifle free speech. Perhaps he wants you to start another thread. Oh, that's right you've done that already, haven't you?

And I'm still waiting to hear which of us is Digit.

Great! and if I was to ask you your opinion on every College and University in the NCAA having the ability to live webcast home games in an effort to promote women's hockey at the college level as a whole. What would your response be?

I guess I don’t know what the costs for something like that would be considering a lot of teams might only have their parents watching. But other than that I think it’d be a good idea.

I've said this before....the board is for fans, or perhaps it is more accurate to use the term's root word, fanatics!

I would expect that no one who is getting paid real money to perform any kind of work in this industry would ever spend any time on these boards for any meaningful purpose, other than perhaps for entertainment.

We as fanatics might do ourselves a service by sharing meaningful information or opinions from time to time, but I would expect that those who are professionally employed in the industry have no need or purpose for spending time on this site.

I'd bet my last whoopie pie that Digit/Coady/Jill are NOT among us!

Right.

Then what would it take for you to come over to the other threads and "Fight the Good Fight" and promote the game in it's entirety instead of being mired in this particular cesspool where there are no winners?

Re: Brown - Oops! They did it again.

Was glancing through the pages and a while back there was reference made to a few murders. Any self respecting lawyer would have established a motive by now, or at least before the case went to trial. What is Digit's motive? Just to be clear.

About two days off, so I can catch up on work first.

Simply to aggravate Ccookie....a fine example of mens rea, clearly!
