The trip to Tulsa was a welcome respite from the HE tournament, probably. Perhaps, he's as tired as everyone else of seeing BC win championships.

Actually he has always been a big supporter of the other sports at BU, and let's not forget that he actually accepted the Athletic Director job for one day a few years ago before having a change of heart.
Given all that, though, I realize that your comment was a "little" tongue-in-cheek. :)

Interesting parallel with the girls and the 1990 final four. Bc lost to Wisconsin in the semi, and bu lost to cornell's travel partner.

Bc already lost. Let's go ladies and don't repeat history!!

It was a good effort. Usually when the little team stays that close for the 1st half, the powerhouse comes out storming to start the 2nd. Those games are usually over in the first four minutes of the 2nd half. But it was still 47-41 at the halfway point (10 min left in the game). And that's usually when you sit up and go, Uh-oh, this underdog isn't going away. Today, though . . . well, the rest is history. Nice to be in the big dance, tho'!

yeah, that's why some us had a little bit of optimism, we would've got in by having favored teams win. oh well, go next year. and go merrimack this year.

Funny thing is the # of chumps on this Board who really were scoreboard watching tonite. Even Parker sent the team home for the season when he said to them "you dont have to go home but you cant stay here".

sorry for paying attention to see if my team was still in contention. they didn't deserve an ncaa bid one bit, but that doesn't mean I'm going to give up on them. gfy. glad I wasn't sitting next to you in DC with one minute to go. though I likely would've had an empty seat next to me to put my coat on for the final minute.
