Re: Boston University 2012 Offseason

2012-13 roster with 26 players is announced. 6 seniors, 6 juniors, 4 sophomores, 10 freshmen. BU has added walk-on Nick Breed, an all-state forward from Cape Elizabeth, Maine, who scored 34 goals—tops in Western Class B—and 17 assists. Senior/grad student Ryan Ruikka will wear the A this season.

Re: Boston University 2012 Offseason

4 returning players changed numbers, just to mess us up. Hohmann switches to #7 (luck number, right? - VDG did that from #10, I believe). Cisse switches from 27 to 12. Nieto moves to 19 and Rodrigues takes Nieto's 17.

Nick Breed - a walk-on from Cape Elizabeth. The last walk-on from there finished his career as captain, was a physical force, and had a great name too :D

Edit: VDG started as #19

Either that or they had some sort of, 'oh ****, one of the freshmen goalies isn't here for the picture. Lets just grab the coaches kid and put him in the regular sized gear...no one is gonna know!' moment.

Re: Boston University 2012 Offseason

Need some help from fellow alums...this has been a terrible week and I could really use some support. Thanks in advance for your understanding and assistance. The issue is with my son and we just don't know if we can handle the stress and the expense of this issue. Hopefully you will have some sympathy for our family and lend a hand. We hate to ask but we're out of options.

So here goes: does anybody know where I could pick up a Robert Griffin III jersey? Maybe a website I could go to and get that, or any other crap. If you see anything, let me know...we could really use the help, and some uggboots too.

Thanks, you guys are the best, I know we can count on you.

Regards,

Fellow Alum pirate

Re: Boston University 2012 Offseason

What was reason given for why he was cut? Seems strange to give someone a spot then take it away. I mean he either had the talent or not. I know he was a walk-on, but it seems strange to think one week he could help add depth in practice then next week send him packing.

Re: Boston University 2012 Offseason

Where did you guys learn that he had been cut? I don't see anythng on the DFP site, or the BHB.
