ah.... 4 brothers used to be next to the former smg prof offices which is on the southwest corner of the block just west of warren towers..

steak & cheese.

good stuff.

That would be about 50 feet from my apartment, where I am currently sitting, and hungry:(

Re: Boston University 2010 Offseason I - The Year after the Year after effect

One Word: Beer.

Two More Words: Anchor Steam.

Who cares about food when you've got beer? Eat before or after the game...Pick up a pretzel or something they can't mess up at the game if you're really that hungry...Otherwise drink and be merry.

Beer and Hot Dogs/Chicken Fingers that are not cold should not be mutually exclusive.

And JMHO, but Anchor Steam is kind of an odd choice for a stadium beer! We need a good hockey beer... how about Molson Canadian? :D

Re: Boston University 2010 Offseason I - The Year after the Year after effect

Because I am currently working on this, I figured I'd give everyone a heads-up that here at NESN we're launching a Boston's Biggest Sports Legend contest starting Monday. It features a bracket of 64 (no play-in game like the bouncyball tourney). Included in the field are three BU legends and one other person whose name people will associate with BU. As far as I can tell, we only have one BC legend, one Northeastern legend (although he might be more famous for what he did after NU) and no Harvard legends.

Edit: And before you ask, I'm not supposed to reveal who's in the field, so I'll have to leave y'all guessing.

Hmmm....

BC: Doug Flutie (obviously)

NU: Reggie Lewis

BU: Jack Parker & Mike Eruzione for sure.... Harry Agganis?? who else?

Good God that's obnoxious. I want it so bad...

Could you imagine setting that up to hang over your house??
Oh my Lord... ahahahahahahahahahahaha

My girlfriend would murder me if I somehow managed to buy that. Which I really, really want to do. No idea wtf I'd do with it though.

Also I would like to add that Conte's food is... okay. The pretzels are a joke, they are disgusting. Our pizza, however, is the best stadium pizza I've had. Very, very impressive.

Walter Brown does have those delicious stuffed pretzels, though they stopped with the jalepeno cheese ones :( Does Agganis have the stuffed pretzels? Those things are great.

Love offseason thread topics :)

Agganis does not have stuffed pretzels. I made sure to include that as a suggestion on the questionnaire. It's the only thing any BU concession stand at any facility does right, and Agganis doesn't even have them.

If I had 14' ceilings, that'd make a good wallpaper. Unfortunately, I believe it is a larger square footage than my entire apartment. How much must that thing weight??

Depends what it was made of, but a typical fabric banner about that size would probably be around 40 lbs.

Re: Boston University 2010 Offseason I - The Year after the Year after effect

My bedroom carpet was once a piece of FieldTurf I took from my high school, and even I think this is ridiculous. At least there shouldn't be any questions whether this Frozen Fenway item is authentic. :D

I wouldn't put it past BU to make a replica...
